She had been experiencing severe pain in her abdomen, and as we anxiously waited, the doctor pulled us aside after the examination.

He told us to step outside, and when we asked why, he delivered the crushing news: 'Aapke mummy ko covid hai.' (your mother is diagnosed Covid Positive) He said we could wait for the results of the other tests, but the COVID results were already in. My brother tested positive too, but I was negative. In that moment, I was feeling guilty and devastated.

I could see the fear in my mother's eyes; she always believed her son, 'Anupam Kher,' could do anything in the world. But there I was helpless, unable to shield her from this covid issue. She looked at me and asked, 'Why can't you stop this?' I couldn't even meet her gaze and looked away."

He added, "This feeling of helplessness and despair was something many of us experienced during that time. This movie is a universal story of love, fear, and vulnerability, and it's those very emotions that make The Signature resonate so deeply with audiences."
