Bhaskar hails from Madhubani, Bihar. He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Coochbehar, West Bengal. Post that, he completed his education in radio and television journalism from Bharti Vidya Bhawan. Before entering the industry, Bhaskar did an internship at Doordarshan and worked as sub-editor for a website alongside working as a radio jockey.
