Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, produced by Dinesh Vijan-led Maddock Films and Jyoti Deshpande, revolves around the story of a middle-class married couple, Kapil and Somya (played by Vicky and Sara).

Kapil and Somya live in a joint family in Indore. They start faking their divorce in order to have their own house away from their family and opted for the Indian Government's flagship program Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). One day, their 'act' took a dramatic turn and what follows forms the rest of the story.

On Sunday, the streaming giant took to social media and announced the release date. They wrote, "Sah-parivaar shaadi ki thi, ab sah-parivaar divorce bhi hoga! Toh aap sab #DivorceMeinZaroorAana 💔 #ZaraHatkeZaraBachke streaming May 17 onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium."

Vicky and Sara's performances were praised by the audience. The music album, especially the songs - 'Tere Vaaste' and 'Phir Aur Kya Chahiye', became chartbuster hits. ZHZB was a sleeper hit and emerged as a box office success.
