Chhorii 2 Release Time: Here’s When Nushrratt Bharuccha & Soha Ali Khan’s Horror Film Premiere

Chhorii 2 Release Date: Remember Nushrratt Bharuccha's 2021 release Chhorii? The horror film came with a thought provoking plot revolving around female foeticide and female infanticide and grabbed a lot of appreciation from viewers. And now, after four years, Nushrratt is back with the second installment of the film and we can't keep calm. We are talking about Chhorii 2 which is a horror film and is directed by Vishal Furia. Apart from Nushrrat, Chhorii 2 also features Soha Ali Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani and Saurabh Goyal in the lead.
Interestingly, the posters, teasers and trailer has managed to grab a lot of eyeballs. In fact, Soha's inrecognisable look as Daasi Ma has been sending chills down the spine. For the uninitiated, Chhorii 2 begins from where Chhorii ended and features Sakshi (played by Nushrratt Bharuccha) leaving with her daughter Ishani. However, their life took a different turn after Ishani mysteriously disappears. While Sakshi sought help from Inspector Samar, the investigation leads her back to the same haunted village she once escaped only to learn that Ishani will be sacrificed in three days. And now, Sakshi is set to face new horrors to save her daughter.

It's a very stark number. Ye illegal hai, ye to bhi ho raha hai. Most girls who get married at that age, they are playing with dolls. Unki shaadi kar di jaati hai. Unko idea bhi nahi hai unki life aage kya hone wali hai. (They are forced into marriage. They have no idea what their life is going to be like ahead). It's very scary. The things that can go wrong in a child marriage. There could be sexual abuse, they could be put under human trafficking, there could be underage pregnancy, which would be a great risk to their health," Nushrrat told News18.
