Deva OTT Release Date Update: Earlier this year, Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor returned to the silver screen with his new film Deva. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the action-thriller marked the talented actor's comeback after the success of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and fans had huge expectations from Deva, especially after its poster and teaser release.

DEVA PLOT, BOX OFFICE AND OTHER DETAILS

Amid a decent buzz, Deva was finally released on January 31 this year and received a mixed response from critics as well as moviegoers. The cop action thriller failed to resonate with audiences, leading to a massive decline after an average opening weekend. Struggling at the box office, the film couldn't recover its costs.

Shahid Kapoor's action-packed thriller Deva has reportedly concluded its global theatrical run with a total collection of Rs 59 crore. Despite high expectations, the film managed to earn Rs 42 crore from the Indian market (Rs 35 crore net), while its overseas collections stood at Rs 17 crore.

The film also stars Pavail Gulati, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait in key roles. Centered around Shahid's intense cop character, the story follows his investigation into a high-stakes case. The 2-minute, 18-second trailer showcases his action-packed transformation, culminating in a gripping moment where an article questions his methods, asking, "Police or Mafia?"

While the film failed at the box office, a section of moviegoers are still awaited its OTT release.

DEVA OTT RELEASE DATE AND PLATFORM: WHEN & WHERE WILL FILM STREAM ONLINE?

As reported earlier, the streaming rights of Deva were brought by Netflix. Based on the standard 8-week gap between theatrical and digital releases, Deva is expected to premiere on Netflix in April 2025. However, the makers are yet to announce the official streaming date of the Shahid Kapoor starrer.
