In this candid conversation with Filmibeat, she opens up about the overwhelming response to Reeta Sanyal, the pressure of fans' expectations, her dream of starring in a dance film, and what fans can expect from her in the near future.

Her last release, Reeta Sanyal turned out to be a big success on Disney Plus Hotstar. Talking about its success and the reactions she got, Adah Sharma stated, "Reeta Sanyal was an experiment because we haven't seen anything in this genre in India. Law shows are usually serious legal battles and superheroes and action shows are another genre. Combining these two with fantasy and adventure, I'm glad the audience loved it and it's one of the most-watched OTT shows."

On being asked about the fans' expectations, she said, "I love the pressure of high expectations. There's a lot more action, romance, comedy, drama."

Interestingly, her film The Kerala Story is the highest-grossing female-led film in the history of Indian cinema. Reacting to this milestone, the actress said, "The Kerala story is a very special film. It made history at the box office. For me, it will remain even more special for the number of hearts we touched and the people all over the world who watched the movie and made a permanent place for me in their hearts."
Known for playing diverse characters in her projects, Adah revealed that she wishes to do a dance film soon. Sharing thoughts about her dream role, she revealed, "I would love to do a dance film. I've completed my graduation in Kathak and when I started doing movies I thought I will be doing a lot of dance films. I guess whenever the time is right."

Her fans are hoping for sequels to 1920, Reeta Sanyal, and more of her projects. Sharing happiness about the same, she concluded, "It's lovely that people want sequels of Commando, Sunflower, Reeta Sanyal, and 1920. I promise there are a lot of sequels in the making."
