Applause Entertainment, taking a significant leap into children's entertainment, has proudly launched 'ApplaToon,' a new animation channel aimed at kids, available exclusively on YouTube. The channel debuts with its original animated series, Kiya & Kayaan, inspired by the cherished tales from the Amar Chitra Katha Junior Library. The premiere of this eagerly awaited series is set for April 25, accessible on the ApplaToon YouTube channel, marking an important milestone in offering engaging content for young audiences.

Kiya & Kayaan introduces viewers to a captivating narrative centered around two siblings with boundless imagination. They discover virtual reality headsets that transport them to Storyland, a mesmerizing universe rooted in Indian mythology and folklore. This series, targeting children between the ages of 4 and 8, weaves a rich tapestry of adventures, featuring encounters with mythical entities and embarking on exciting quests that underline the importance of curiosity, bravery, and kindness.

In collaboration with Amar Chitra Katha, a revered name in Indian comic book history, Applause Entertainment has secured rights to adapt more than 400 storied narratives from its vast collection. Kiya & Kayaan marks the beginning of a series of animated adaptations intended to rejuvenate India's legendary tales for a new generation. The series is a creation of Applause Entertainment, under the direction of Sanjeev Sahoo, and brings together production powerhouses such as Popcorn Animation Studio, Prayan Animation Studio Pvt. Ltd., Living Pixels, and Warnick Studios.
