We are talking about Leviathan which is a Japanese original net animation (ONA) series. Directed by Christophe Ferreira, Leviathan is based on the novel of the same name which was penned by Scott Westerfeld. Leviathan has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town with its trailer and has been among the most anticipated anime releases of the year.

Produced by Justin Leach, Taiki Sakurai, Katrina Minett and Yoshihiro Watanabe, Leviathan is touted to be a steampunk anime and is set in the backdrop of World War 1. The series is expected to have a mix of sci-fi and warfare. To note, renowned voice artists Natsumi Fujiwara, Ayumu Murase, Shunsuke Sakuya, Mie Sonozaki etc hav lent voices for the lead characters in the series. As Leviathan has been grabbing eyeballs, it is set to premiere on Netflix on July 10.
