Marco OTT Release (Hindi): Unni Mukundan starrer Marco has been one of the biggest Malayalam releases of 2024. The movie, which had released on December 20, had hit the theatres in Malayalam and Hindi languages. Directed by Haneed Adeni, Marco has been an action thriller which is also touted to be the most violent films of all times. Apart from Unni Mukundan, Marco also features Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul and Yukti Tareja in key roles.

Interestingly, Marco has been creating a massive buzz in the town and has got everyone brimming with an opinion. From stellar cast to trailer, and the performance, Marco not only grabbed the eyeballs but also opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, it has also received a decent response at the box office in both Malayalam and Hindi speaking markets. And now, there has been a massive buzz about Marco OTT release.

Marco OTT Release (Hindi) Date & Platform

According to a report published in Mathrubhumi, the digital rights for Marco has been purchased by Netflix for the Hindi version of the film. The report mentioned a tweet that claimed that Marco will have its OTT premiere around 45 days post its theatrical release. As Marco has hit the theatres on December 20, the OTT release of the film is likely to take to place by January end or in February. However, no official announcement in this regard has been made so far.

Interestingly, Marco has been witnessing a steady hold at the box office in the second week. The movie, which earned Rs 55 lakhs on day 11 (second Monday) saw a slight hike in numbers on New Year eve wherein it raked in Rs 60 lakhs on day 12 (second Tuesday) in the Hindi market taking the overall collection of the movie Rs 3.13 crores.

Meanwhile, Marco producer Shareef Muhammed, in an interview with Red FM Malayalam, spoke about the violent content in the film and said, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules"
