The new season of the critically acclaimed web series will premiere in the summers. The news spread like wildfire on the internet, generating a massive response from the audience.

Prime Video on Thursday (April 3) confirmed that it has renewed its popular series Panchayat for a fourth season. The new installment will premiere on the leading OTT platform on July 2, 2025.

WHAT'S NEW IN PANCHAYAT SEASON 4?

Panchayat starring Jitendra Kumer emerged as a massive success upon its release on Prime Video during the COVID-lockdown. The second season grabbed maximum eyeballs in 2022, paving the way for the third season.

Last year, Panchayat season 3 broke several viewership records in the digital space, creating ripples among the audience. The drama series is produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), which is known for shows like The Kota Factory.

Panchayat focuses on the story of Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate, who joins a panchayat office as a secretary due to lack of other job options. He works in a remote village named Phulera.

Interestingly, the makers have revealed the release date of the fourth season on the occasion of the show's fifth anniversary. While Jitendra Kumar plays the lead role, the likes of Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy are seen in pivotal roles.

The star-studded cast also includes Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha. Guess what? All these actors will reprise their roles in the upcoming season of Panchayat.

A reliable industry source exclusively told Filmibeat, "The fourth season of Panchayat will be loaded with drama, entertainment, laughter and memorable moments. The makers didn't wish to keep the audience waiting and hence, they are releasing Panchayat season 4 a year after the premiere of season three on Prime Video. Expect the unexpected in the new season as the creative team has planned to take things a notch higher."
