Raid 2 OTT Release Date Update: Here's When Ajay Devgn’s Crime Thriller Will Premiere Online In HD

Raid 2 OTT Release Date: Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 has been one of the biggest releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is the much awaited and talked about sequel to the 2018 release which was a massive hit among fans. To note, Raid 2 is a crime thriller drama featuring Ajay reprising his role of the honest and fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik who returned to conduct his 75th raid and this time against another powerful but corrupt politician.

Apart from Ajay, Raid 2 also features Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Surpiya Pathak, Amit Sial, Rajat Kapoor, Yashpal Sharma etc. Interestingly, Riteish Deshmukh was seen playing the role of lead antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai and his performance did leave a mark. To note, Ajay and Riteish had collaborated for the fifth time after Cast, Masti, Total Dhamaal, Himmatwala and their face off was one of the major highlights of Raid 2. As Raid 2 was released amid massive buzz, it opened to rave reviews and emerged as a box office hit.

Raid 2 OTT Release Date & Platform

According to a report published in News18, Raid 2 will be having its digital release on Netflix. The media reports suggested that Raid 2 is likely to premiere on Netflix on June 27. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard so far.

Interestingly, Raid 2 witnessed a brilliant start at the box office and made a lifetime collection of Rs 171.35 crores and emerged as one of the top 5 highest grossing movies of 2025 so far.

Meanwhile, Raj Kumar Gupta, during his interview with Gulte, spoke about replacing Ileana D'Cruz with Vaani Kapoor and stated, "She was married, started a family, and had a child. Ileana had her priorities, and she shifted out of India. We had a great time working together, and she will always be a part of the Raid world".
