Latest OTT releases: Indian films and series headlining the week
Among Indian latest OTT releases, Dhurandhar: The Revenge aka Dhurandhar 2 brings Ranveer Singh back as undercover operative Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Operating in Karachi as Hamza Ali Mazari, feared as Sher-e-Baloch, the character now controls Lyari’s criminal network. From this vantage point, Hamza targets terror cells behind 26/11 while facing Major Iqbal, an ISI strategist played by Arjun Rampal.
R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun reprise their roles from the first Dhurandhar film, with Aditya Dhar again directing. The plot pits intelligence agencies against organised crime, with espionage and loyalty constantly in question. Streaming on JioHotstar from June 4, the film anchors this week’s mainstream action offering for Indian audiences.
Maa Behen, directed by Suresh Triveni, offers a very different Indian entry among latest OTT releases. Madhuri Dixit plays Rekha, whose behaviour already worries residents of the conservative Adarsh Colony. Rekha’s estranged daughters Jaya, played by Triptii Dimri, and Sushma, played by Dharna Durga, share a tense relationship and struggle to stay civil.
The family’s fragile peace shatters when a corpse appears suddenly in their kitchen, forcing the three into a messy cover-up. As gossip spreads through the colony, they scramble to hide the body from neighbours and police. Ravi Kishan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh and others build out the ensemble. Maa Behen streams on Netflix from June 4.
Latest OTT releases: Indian dramas Patriot, Brown and Gullak season 5
On June 5, ZEE5 adds Patriot to the list of Indian latest OTT releases, just a month after cinemas. Mahesh Narayanan directs Mammootty as Dr Daniel James, a government intelligence operative uncovering an illegal surveillance project called Periscope. The network tracks citizens, activists, journalists and political opponents using hidden technologies.
When Dr Daniel James attempts to expose Periscope, the system turns against the whistle-blower, framing and chasing the operative. Mohanlal plays Colonel Rahim Naik, while Fahadh Faasil is Shakthi Sundaram, with Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara and Revathi also involved. Their characters function on clashing sides of the same political machinery, giving the thriller its tension.
Karisma Kapoor fronts Brown on ZEE5, another high-profile Indian title among latest OTT releases. Directed by Abhinay Deo and set in a rain-drenched Kolkata, the neo-noir psychological crime drama follows Rita Brown. Rita is a talented Kolkata Police officer, yet struggles with alcoholism and emotional scars from the past.
Her latest case, the killing of a young woman, drags Rita deeper into dark parts of the city and self. As she investigates, the gap between investigator and subject narrows, exposing personal vulnerabilities. The cast also includes Surya Sharma, Jisshu U Sengupta, Soni Razdan, Meghna Malik and singer Shaan. Brown streams on ZEE5 from June 5.
Slice-of-life favourite Gullak returns the same day on SonyLIV with season 5, adding to family-focused latest OTT releases. The Mishra household now boasts Wi-Fi, a fresh coat of paint and new appliances, even as Santosh continues to worry about every electricity bill. The show becomes the first Hindi OTT original to hit five successive seasons.
There is a major casting switch this year. Anant V Joshi takes over as elder son Annu from Vaibhav Raj Gupta, who played the character across seasons one to four. Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Harsh Mayar and Sunita Rajwar return, with both Mishra sons facing grown-up pressures hinted at earlier.
Latest OTT releases: global thrillers, sports stories and true crime
Apple TV’s Cape Fear extends a familiar story into long-form television among this week’s global latest OTT releases. Adapted from John D. MacDonald’s 1957 novel The Executioners, the 10-episode series builds on Martin Scorsese’s film version. Javier Bardem stars as Max Cady, a convicted murderer leaving prison with revenge in mind.
Cady targets the married lawyers who helped secure the conviction. Amy Adams plays Anna Bowden and Patrick Wilson plays Tom, whose carefully ordered lives begin to crumble as Cady stalks them. The series leans into a slow psychological burn, with Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg on board as executive producers. Cape Fear streams on Apple TV from June 5.
Netflix’s Mexico 86 explores football, politics and power as part of its latest OTT releases. When Colombia dropped the 1986 FIFA World Cup in 1982 due to economic troubles, several nations moved to host. Diego Luna plays Martín de la Torre, a politically connected Mexican bureaucrat determined to keep Mexico in contention.
The drama follows Martín through FIFA corridors, shadowy negotiations and domestic pressure as the country fights for hosting rights. The United States, Canada and Brazil also push their bids, turning the process into a high-stakes contest. Mexico 86 charts how one official navigates global sport and national pride when expectations are low. The series lands on Netflix on June 5.
True-crime followers get two connected latest OTT releases focused on the 1992 murder of Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common. The Witness, streaming on Netflix from June 4, tells the story through the people closest to Rachel. Jordan Bolger plays Rachel’s partner André Hanscombe, while Max Fincham and Jahsaiah Williams portray their son Alex at different ages.
The three-part series tracks André’s attempt to raise a traumatised child under media glare, a flawed investigation and a conviction André believed was wrong. Years later, as a teenager in France, Alex is drawn back into the case when new evidence appears. Kerry Godliman, Claire Rushbrook and James Bradshaw co-star, with the show designed to be viewed alongside the related documentary.
The companion documentary, The Murder of Rachel Nickell, also sits among Netflix’s latest OTT releases from June 4. This feature-length film revisits the July 1992 killing, when Rachel was stabbed on Wimbledon Common while walking with two-year-old Alex, who was found holding the body. Investigators then made serious errors, and an innocent man went to prison.
Using exclusive archival video, interviews with the Nickell and Hanscombe families, and forensic specialists, the documentary examines the decade-long injustice. The film also covers the DNA development that finally produced a verdict more than fifteen years after Rachel’s death. It serves as a factual counterpart to The Witness and deepens understanding of the case.
Latest OTT releases: documentaries, animation and K-drama action
Music and law intersect in Michael Jackson: The Verdict, another Netflix entry in this batch of latest OTT releases. The three-part documentary revisits the 2005 Santa Maria trial, where Jackson faced ten felony counts, including child sexual molestation. The case ran for four months, ending with acquittal on all charges.
Because courtroom cameras were banned, the series reconstructs events using juror interviews, journalists’ accounts, witness recollections and archive clips. The production presents both prosecution and defence viewpoints to show how the case unfolded. Michael Jackson: The Verdict arrives on Netflix on June 3, offering a detailed legal retrospective.
Animation fans get The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 on Prime Video as part of the week’s latest OTT releases. The story resumes a year after the Chroma Conclave’s defeat, with the adventuring party scattered. Vex and Percy now live in Whitestone, Vax and Keyleth travel together, Scanlan reconnects with daughter Kaylie and Grog stays close to Pike.
When the Cult of the Whispered One resurfaces, worshipping lich god Vecna and spreading chaos across Exandria, the group must reunite. Wayne Brady joins as Taryon Darrington, a wealthy, eccentric artificer with mechanical aide Doty. Guest voices from Alan Cumming, Ming-Na Wen, Tim McGraw and Mark Strong add star power. Season 4 streams on Prime Video from June 3.
South Korean series Teach You a Lesson joins Netflix’s latest OTT releases on June 5, tapping into school tensions. Based on webtoon Get Schooled, the action drama imagines classrooms where teachers lack power, parents threaten lawsuits and students frequently cross lines. The state’s fictional fix is the Teachers' Rights Protection Bureau.
This agency deploys unconventional field supervisors to problem schools with one job. They must physically enforce discipline and accountability where regular systems have failed. The premise raises questions about authority, punishment and responsibility in education, framed through stylised, high-impact confrontations across campuses.
Latest OTT releases: documentaries, dramas and comedies around the world
Prime Video’s Clarkson's Farm season 5 leads international unscripted latest OTT releases on June 3. The season opens differently, with Jeremy Clarkson suffering a serious cardiac event and needing emergency hospitalisation. Doctors order strict rest just as Diddly Squat farm demands Clarkson’s attention most.
While Clarkson slowly recovers, Kaleb Cooper travels to the Netherlands to study advanced farming technologies. He returns with robot tractors, laser-mapped fields and high-tech ideas that seem promising on paper. Once deployed across Oxfordshire, however, the innovations cause chaos as theory crashes into everyday farming practice. Clarkson's Farm season 5 streams on Prime Video.
On the drama side of latest OTT releases, The Marked Woman on Netflix follows a mystery centred on identity and survival. An unconscious woman, played by Ana Rujas, is discovered locked in a shipping container at Barcelona port. She is bound and gagged, with no memory of her name or history.
Hours later, someone tries to murder the same woman in her hospital bed, triggering an urgent investigation. Detective Anna Ripoll, played by Candela Peña, and Officer Quique Zárate, played by Pol López, must learn who she is before the attackers return. The series adapts a crime novel by Spanish author Rosa Montero and French writer Olivier Truc.
TVF enters new territory on Prime Video with The Pyramid Scheme, broadening Indian latest OTT releases beyond metros. Created by Sapne Vs Everyone director Shreyansh Pandey, the show unfolds across Haridwar’s ghats and gurudwaras. Goldy, played by Paramvir Singh Cheema, is a charming, restless young man dreaming of a bigger life.
Goldy gets drawn into multi-level marketing, attracted by quick earnings and a flashy lifestyle. As he climbs the scheme, the fallout spreads through his joint family, straining loyalties and exposing moral compromises. Ranvir Shorey, Shekhar Suman, Aanjjan Srivastav, Smita Bansal and Alfia Jafry co-star, with Sushant Singh and Akhilendra Mishra in significant roles.
Latest OTT releases: corporate romance and corporate legends
Office Romance on Netflix adds adult comedy to the latest OTT releases list from June 5. Written by Ted Lasso co-creator Brett Goldstein, who also stars, the R-rated workplace rom-com is directed by Ol Parker. Jennifer Lopez plays Jackie Cruz, President and CEO of a major corporation.
Jackie begins a secret relationship with Daniel Blanchflower, the firm’s charming new in-house lawyer, played by Goldstein, despite rules against such involvement. Their attempt to hide the romance from colleagues becomes more chaotic with each lie and cover story. The ensemble includes Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford, Jodie Whittaker and Edward James.
Corporate history arrives as drama in Made in India: A Titan Story, one of the business-focused latest OTT releases. Streaming on Amazon MX Player from June 3, the six-part period series adapts Vinay Kamath’s book Titan: India's Most Successful Consumer Brand. Naseeruddin Shah plays JRD Tata, while Jim Sarbh portrays Xerxes Desai, Titan’s first managing director.
Set in pre-liberalisation India, the story follows the birth of a homegrown watch brand at a time of economic change. JRD Tata and Xerxes Desai push a single ambitious idea through a rigid, sceptical system resistant to new consumer ventures. The drama charts how Titan eventually emerged despite institutional pushback and bureaucracy.
Together, these latest OTT releases give Indian viewers a full week of options, from political thrillers and animation to biographical drama and domestic comedy. With titles spread across every major platform and language mix, audiences can pick between heavy true crime, light-hearted romance, sports history, rural reality and intimate family stories without leaving their living rooms.
