Lukkhe: Palak Tiwari Reveals Mom Shweta Tiwari's Major Advice; Says 'Don't Try To Win Every Scene'
Palak Tiwari is stepping into streaming with Prime Video’s upcoming Original series Lukkhe, and is linking her role directly to mother Shweta Tiwari’s television legacy. Playing Sanober, Palak is taking on an emotionally heavy part that explores love, insecurity, and ambition in a high-pressure world driven by music.

The actor is open about the expectations that follow Shweta Tiwari’s long television career, especially Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Palak views Sanober as a tribute to that legacy, while also aiming to stand apart as an independent performer with a distinct approach to emotion and intensity on screen.
Palak Tiwari and Lukkhe on Prime Video: tribute to Shweta Tiwari
Speaking about this pressure, Palak said, "Of course, it comes with added pressure because she is one of the most expressive performers, in my opinion. My character in Lukkhe, Sanober, is also someone who wears her heart on her sleeve. So it truly felt like Sanober is my gift to my mother's iconic character, Prerna from Kasutii Zindagii Kay. In many ways, Sanober is Prerna's true daughter because of how deeply emotional and expressive she is."
In Lukkhe, Sanober is written as a person who struggles with vulnerability yet cannot hide emotions. The character moves through intense relationships, creative rivalries, and personal doubt. This arc sits within a story where music, success, and personal sacrifice are tightly linked, raising the stakes for every choice Sanober makes.
Shweta Tiwari’s advice for Palak Tiwari on Lukkhe
Palak shared that Shweta Tiwari guided the emotional side of the performance while allowing independence. She recalled one key lesson that shaped her approach on set, especially during demanding scenes with other actors who also had strong emotional beats written for them.
Palak said, "My mom has always told me that if you can make the audience feel, especially make them cry, everything else falls into place. But at the same time, she also believes in letting me find my own way as an actor. One piece of advice she gave me during this show really stayed with me was 'don't try to win every scene.' Every scene has its own hero. Sometimes it will be you, and sometimes it won't, and that's completely okay. Let the other actor shine, because that's what ultimately makes the scene work. I think that perspective really helped me while working on Lukkhe."
The series is produced by Vipul D. Shah and Rajesh Bahl for Optimystix Entertainment and White Guerrilla LLP. Himank Gaur directs the Prime Original, which is created and executive produced by Deobjit Das Purkayastha and Agrim Joshi, setting up a large-scale, drama-driven, music-focused narrative for the platform.
Alongside Palak Tiwari, Lukkhe features Raashii Khanna, KING, Lakshvir Singh Saran, and Shivankit Singh Parihar in leading roles. The cast also includes Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Shivankit Parihar, Yograj Singh, and Ayesha Raza Mishra in important supporting parts. The series is scheduled to release on 8 May 2026 on Prime Video.
For Palak Tiwari, Lukkhe serves as both a personal milestone and a connection to Shweta Tiwari’s long-running impact on television. The series places Palak in a central, emotionally layered role, while also reflecting the advice, discipline, and perspective that Shweta Tiwari shared as Palak entered the streaming space.
