Panchayat Season 5 Full Cast

Panchayat Season 5 will again centre on Abhishek Tripathi, the Panchayat secretary of Phulera, played by Jitendra Kumar. Neena Gupta returns as Manju Devi, the former village pradhan, while Raghubir Yadav continues as Brij Bhushan Dubey, better known as Pradhan Ji and Manju Devi’s husband.

The ensemble also includes Faisal Malik as deputy pradhan Prahlad Pandey, Chandan Roy as office assistant Vikas Shukla and Sanvikaa as Rinki, daughter of Pradhan Ji and Manju Devi. Durgesh Kumar plays Bhushan Sharma or Banrakas, now Phulera’s new Pradhan, with Sunita Rajwar as Kranti Devi and Ashok Pathak as Bhushan’s aide Binod.

Interest in Panchayat Season 5 rose further in April, when creator Anurabh Kumar from TVF posted photos from the Phulera set during a family visit. These images reassured regular viewers that filming preparations were underway, even though the production team and Prime Video have stayed silent about the exact launch window.

Panchayat Season 5 Plot: What To Expect?

Panchayat Season 4 focused on a fierce power struggle between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi during village elections. East and West Phulera became sharply divided, as both sides chased votes and influence. The intense campaign placed heavy pressure on the Sachiv, Abhishek, who also balanced ambitions of becoming an IAS officer. The fourth season ended with Abhishek clearing the CAT exam with a 97 percentile score. During a heartfelt exchange, Abhishek and Rinki finally confessed their love, yet Abhishek decided not to leave Phulera. At the same time, Bhushan and Kranti Devi beat Manju Devi by 73 votes, making Bhushan the new Pradhan.

This electoral shift left Manju Devi and Brij Bhushan unhappy, setting up new rivalries for Panchayat Season 5. Writer Chandan Kumar has already suggested that viewers will finally see what happens to Sachiv Ji and Rinki's relationship, and how village politics shape up after the tense election results. Besides, the new season will also focus on if Manju Devi can regain influence as Pradhan, and how Phulera adapts to its altered political landscape.
