Satrangi Badle Ka Khel EXCLUSIVE: Kumud Mishra is one of the most talented and versatile actors in Bollywood and there are no second thoughts about it. Be it a doting father in Thappad, a man on a revenge spree in Assi, a national rival in Suryavanshi and more, give any role to him and he makes sure to make it a memorable one with his skills and nuances. And while it is always a treat to watch Kumud Mishra onscreen, he is now making headlines for his recent release. We are talking about Satrangi Badle Ka Khel which is a crime drama thriller.

Directed by Jai Basant Singh, Satrangi Badle Ka Khel features Anshuman Pushkar and RJ Mahvash in the lead while Kumud Mishra is seen in the role of a lead antagonist. From the cast to the trailer, Satrangi Badle Ka Khel has managed to create a massive buzz in the town and appeared to be a gritty thriller. In fact, the series, which came with 7 episodes, opened to a decent response from the audience. Recently during an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat's Ranpreet, Kumud Mishra revealed what intrigued him about Satrangi Badle Ka Khel, his character etc.

Talking about what sparked his interest in the show, Kumud stated, "I really liked the script. I read the whole script and I thought it should be a good project because it talks about a lot of issues. It talks about relevant issues. That's one reason. The second reason is that people have seen me as a bad guy".

Talking about playing a villainous role in Satrangi Badle Ka Khel, Kumud emphasised, "All the villainous roles I play are not villains. They are good people for me. Because if I think they are villainous and I play like that, then there's no scope for performance because I've already judged them. I don't judge my characters. I think that the reasons behind the action they are doing, they are convinced that they are doing the right thing. So I have to find out those reasons. So in every character, whether it's Suryavanshi, or the love stories, or this or that, whatever it is, they have their own reasons why they are behaving like that. They can be justified or unjustified. But I feel that in this character, I have my own reasons"

Interestingly, Satrangi Badle Ka Khel marks Kumud's first collaboration with Anshuman and he is all praises for the latter. Talking about their experience together, Kumud revealed, "It was really fun. He was a very exciting person for me. he was a very fun person. A very simple person. So, I mean, we had a great time".
