London, Paris, New York is a chic romantic comedy that follows the personal journey of the protagonists and their love story as they meet in London, Paris and New York for a night each over a period of eight years. The film highlights the fear, confusion and ordeals of the twenties – one of the most important part of a person's life that decides his/her future.
London, Paris, New York revolves around two characters - Lalitha and Nikhil. Lalitha is a middle class South Indian girl from Chembur (an eastern suburb in Mumbai), who is going to New York to study politics and with full scholarship. Nikhil, on the other hand is a rich spoilt Punjabi guy from a posh western suburb of Mumbai (Bandra). Nikhil is going to London to study Film Making and is being sponsored by his super rich dad! As the two hang around together one evening, they realise that they are completely drawn to each other though their future lies on separate continents.
London, Paris, New York marks three chapters in the life of the characters portrayed by Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari. Each phase in their life is shot in a way that reflects the emotional and mental state of the protagonists over the years.
