Rowdy Rathore - Movie preview

Akshay Kumar is back to action with Rowdy Rathore. Rowdy Rathore is expected to be a full masala entertainer as it is Wanted director Prabhu Deva's film. Rowdy Rathore is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it also stars Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role.

Rowdy (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time thief who loves to cheat people. But one day, he gets shocked when a young girl claims that Rowdy is her father.

Rowdy decides to find out the truth behind the girl's claim. It turns out that the girl is the daughter of IPS Police officer Vikram Singh Rathore (Akshay Kumar in double role).

Rowdy realises that the Police officer Vikram is his lost twin. But soon after they meet, Vikram Rathore gets murdered by the underworld-gangsters in front of him. So, Rowdy decides to fill in Vikram's position in the police force and his home to take revenge, and also to find out the mastermind behind Rathore's murder.

Rowdy Rathore is the remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu. In the original movie Ravi Teja played the lead role. The film broke all the Box Office records and was remade in Bengali, Kannada and Tamil.

Rowdy Rathore is due to release on June 1.
