Bollywood
going
through
a
changing
phase.
The
new-age
filmmakers
are
dynamic
and
innovative,
when
it
comes
to
story
telling,
technical
aspects
and
marketing
strategy.
Well,
Prawaal
Raman,
who
has
a
series
of
flop
movies
like
Gayab,
Darna
Mana
Hai
to
his
credit,
is
back
with
yet
another
experimental
movie
404,
a
psycho
thriller.
The
movie
has
lived
up
to
the
expectations.
In
one
word
–
the
movie
is
excellent.
The
story
of
the
film
is
set
in
the
backdrop
of
a
medical
college.
The
movie
title
404
is
a
room,
where
a
student
named
Gaurav
gets
killed
through
ragging.
The
room
gets
locked
due
to
the
widespread
rumours
of
the
dead
man's
presence.
Professor
Aniruddh
(Nishikant
Kamat)
is
a
person,
who
never
believes
a
supernatural
powers.
Then
a
fresher,
enters
Abhimanyu
(
Rajvvir
Aroraa)
and
he
also
becomes
the
ragging
victim.
But
he
fights
back
and
he
impressed
the
professor
with
hi
rational
thoughts.
The
story
then
set
to
discover
the
mystery
of
the
room.
The
story
of
the
404
makes
you
to
sit
on
the
edge
of
the
seat
till
the
end.
Though,
the
movie
is
not
a
all
out
horror
flick,
yet
it
gives
you
a
spine
chilling
moments
at
parts.
The
director's
gripping
screenplay
with
excellent
cinematography
by
Savita
Singh,
make
it
a
worth
watch.
Sameeruddin's
background
score
is
apt.
Nishikant
Kamath
has
given
wonderful
performance
and
newcomer
Rajvvir
Aroraa
has
proved
that
he
is
here
to
stay.
Imaad
Shah
is
perfect,
Satish
Kaushik
and
Tisca
Chopra
have
done
justice
to
their
roles.
However,
the
director
would
have
reduced
the
length
of
the
movie
considering
boring
factor
in
mind.
Moreover,
the
movie
does
not
have
songs.
Well,
these
are
the
two
drawbacks
of
404.
