Chillar Party may have two big stars branding it, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, but the film has no stars to carry off the film. Interestingly, the story does it and the kids do the talking. After Kaccha Limboo and Stanley Ka Dabba, Chillar Party again brings the kids on the screen. Eight kids stand up to a mighty politician and their mission is to save a dog that belongs to a child in their group. With wholesome entertainment, Chillar Party advocates a strong message: Children with their honest intentions can bridge the class difference still prevalent in the society.

Impulsiveness, courage and honesty is what one will find in Chillar Party. The way the kids go against the entire world just to fight for the rights of the dog is the working factor in the film. If you are a dog lover, you will simply get involved in the feelings that the children successfully deliver. Chillar Party will knock on your conscience.

It is a story of a gang of innocent and spirited kids who lead a carefree life, full of fun in Chandan Nagar Colony. Fatka and his pet Bheedu come into their lives and become an inseparable part of Chillar Party. The story starts when Bheedu's life is endangered because of a mean politician. How the kids fight for the cause against a mighty opponent is the crux of the story.

Plus Points

Unlike a few children's films, Chillar Party is not that serious at core, though it handles a very serious issue. The directors Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl have brilliantly balanced the dramatic and light moments in the film. The film at the same time shows off innocence by having the kids enacting principal and pivotal characters. The directors have handled each moment with great expertise.

Handling the kids and getting out that perfect shot with the perfect expression is definitely a tedious job. The directors have successfully managed to do so. The dialogues written are brilliant as it exactly matches the way the kids speak in real life.

Loopholes

The sole loop hole in Chillar Party is the placement of Ranbir Kapoor's item song 'Tain tain phish'. It is wrongly placed after the end credits, which is a sheer waste of the song as the viewers will make an exit as soon as the film gets over.

Performance

Every kid in Chillar Party gives a winning performance Naman ]ain, Divij, Sanath, Vedant, Aarav, Chinmay, Sherya, Rohan, Visshesh and Irfan are the real stars of the film. Their performance will make you fall in love with the kids. The supporting actors are equally good, be it the actor playing the role of the parents or the convincing politician.

Over All

On the whole, Chillar Party is not just for kids, but grownups also will enjoy the film equally. A story of great determination presented in an entertaining way is what makes Chillar Party a good watch. Let's fall in love with the way the kids love the dog this weekend.
