When a film has Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra as the producer and talented actors like Deepak Dobriyal, Shreyas Talpade and Om Puri attached to its credit, it tends to increase the expectation of the viewers. However, Teen Thay Bhai is a brilliant concept gone in vain.

The sailor of this ship, director Mrigdeep Singh Lamda, who made his debut with Teen Thay Bhai, has missed a big chance to prove himself in the industry, even after having a potential cast of Om, Deepak and Shreyas, with branded backing hands of Rakeysh Mehra and PVR pictures and a brilliant crew including cinematographer Ashok Mehta.

Chixie (Om Puri), Happy (Deepak Dobriyal) and Fancy Singh (Shreyas Talpade) are three brothers in the film who prefer to be left alone without having anything to do with the each other. However, these three brothers come together because of a weird clause posed in front of them by their grandfather.

Their grandfather has left these three brothers with millions of money as an inheritance, however to get the money they will have to fulfill the clauses that is set forth by him. They have to spend an entire night together at an abandoned cabin in the estate of their grandfather. They will also have their dead grandfather's ashes as their company for the night. The story follows, with these brothers coming together, despite hating the very sight of each other.

While, the first half of Teen Thay Bhai, manages to grab your attention, the second half is heart-breaking. When, one expects the three brothers to unite during the sessions, the script leaves the viewers disappointed. There is a clear writing problem in Teen Thay Bhai. The script is amateurishly woven, with weird situations of the three bothers.

While, the film's concept on brotherhood was a refreshing idea, the poor script writing, acts as a hindrance for the first time director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. The cinematography of the film is beautiful with the minute capture of the Kashmiri locales. The only music track that manages to hold your attention throughout Teen Thay Bhai is 'Pigeon Kabootar'. The credit for that goes to Sukhwinder Singh, Ranjit Barot, Mohit Chauhan and Daler Mehndi. Gulzar's funky lyrics also added to the number.

Om Puri is seen exceeding the normal bounds in the film, while Deepak Dobriyal brings his theatrical touch to the character. Shreyas Talpade's random effort to make the audience laugh is clearly seen, though he manages to deliver some smart one liners. Ragini Khanna, has transformed well from the television world to the Bollywood industry. She adds a lot of freshness to the plot. Yograj Singh (Yuvraj Singh's father) is perfect in Teen Thay Bhai.

As a whole, the film will leave you wondering, why did you spare your two hours for a film like this.
