Baat
Bann
Gayi,
which
is
directed
by
Shuja
Ali
claims
to
be
a
romantic
comedy
but
it
failed
to
tickle
our
funny
bones.
This
movie
starring
Ali
Fazal,
Gulshan
Grover,
Anisa
Butt,
Amrita
Raichand,
Razzak
Khan
and
Akshay
Singh
in
the
lead
roles
is
chaotic
and
confusing.
Story
Ali
Fazal
plays
the
role
of
Kabir
who
is
in
love
with
Rachna
(Anisa
Butt).
His
task
ahead
is
to
seek
lady
lover's
hand
in
marriage
by
seeking
the
approval
of
her
brother
Professor
Laxmi
Nivas
(Gulshan
Grover).
On
the
other
hand
we
see
Ali
Fazal
in
another
avatar.
That's
because
he
plays
a
double
role
in
the
movie.
In
the
new
avatar,
he
plays
a
goon
named
Rasiya
Bihari.
This
goon
is
hired
by
a
don
called
Razzak
Khan.
The
don
is
real
estate
king
and
his
goal
is
to
get
Laxmi
Nivas
vacate
his
apartment
and
that
is
why
he
hired
the
goon.
If
you
think
that
this
explanation
of
the
plot
is
complicated,
watching
the
film
is
worse.
It's
far
more
chaotic
on
screen.
Verdict
There
is
the
presence
of
the
romantic
element
in
the
first
half
of
the
movie
but
post
interval,
the
film
is
dragging
and
we
just
wait
for
the
movie
to
end.
Baat
Bann
Gayi
had
certain
situations
in
which
there
could
have
been
some
hilarious
moments
but
the
makers
have
failed
to
explore
it.
One
thing
that
shines
in
the
movie
is
the
actor
Ali
Fazal.
He
does
his
part
of
the
job
with
a
natural
ease.
