Phata Poster Nikla Hero: Movie Review

Who doesn't want a good dose of laughter at the end of a hectic week? And, possibly that's the key reason why comedy movies have had a history of good Box Office records in the B-Town. Today's release Phata Poster Nikla Hero, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, is exactly what our aam janta expects. Phata Poster Nikla Hero is a madcap and full-too entertainer, that will leave you laugh your socks off mindlessly. It's funny, quirky and crazy, and that's what almost half of us expect from a typical Bollywood masala film.

Story
Phata Poster Nikla Hero revolves around the story of Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor), an aspiring actor. But circumstances compel him to become a fake cop. And unlike other cops who are used to violence, Rao has a tough time coming to terms with it. This triggers to several funny and hillarious instances. On the other hand, we get to see the graceful Ileana D'Cruz, who plays the love interest of Shahid.

Phata Poster Nikla Hero is an out and out laughter riot, with elements of romance and action in it. The film will definitely satisfy you with its comedy and entertainment factors, but it wouldn't be wise to expect to anything beyond some laughters and giggles. It's a good movie, but of course not one of the best works of Santoshi.

Performances
Shahid Kapoor does some genuine comedy. He's at his best and does a brilliant job. Ileana D'Cruz on the other hand, is sweet and ok.

Verdict
Phata Poster Nikla Hero is not a must-watch. I would rather call it one-time watch, since it works as a good stress-buster for you this weekend.
