Creature 3D Movie Review

Creature 3D starring Bipasha Basu and Imran Abbas Naqvi directed by Vikram Bhatt is out in theaters today. The story, although is the same old horror genre, is all put in a new platter for the audience.

The story goes like this...

Ahana has come to Himachal Pradesh from Mumbai to her boutique hotel which is supposed to open on Christmas. The truck which brings in supplies for the hotel breaks down in the jungle (how predictable,that a creature will get introduced now). The trucker gets attacked by a lizard-man.

There enters the professor Sadana. He says it is not a lizard-man but 'Brahma rakshas' in the second-half of the film. While the lizard-man gobbles and attacks many in the first-half of the film to keep the audience entertained.

In between these attacks, Ahana falls in love. She falls for Kunal who also keeps the audience entertained with their romantic songs. They have also included some lip-locks and a Surveen Chawla song to make the audience glued ( if at all there were any in the theater) to their seats.

The confused people, including Kunal, kills a leopard thinking that it is the culprit of all the attacks near Ahana's hotel. The lizard-man aka Brahma rakshas comes after Ahana too, finally. Professor uses many of his techniques and ideas to kill but nothing affects the Creature.

Finally, do they kill the Creature and restore the hotel forms the remaining story (if any). You don't get any brownies for guessing the story readers, as a three-year old kid only will find it out!

Verdict:

We think, Bipasha Basu should come out of this Horror genre movies and at least start thinking to act. She has not given any expression beyond sadness in this film. Pakistani actor Imran Abbas Naqvi fails miserably. So does the rest of the actors.

Vikram Bhatt should seriously sit and think of new ideas. What does he even think of when he gave this film?

If you are one of those unfortunate lot who watched Creature 3D in the theater, you have a lot of patience.

Please don't waste your money on Creature 3D when you can watch some random lizards in your own house garden for free. We guess, that sums up the movie review for all you readers.
