Makers
of
the
film
Humshakals
has
been
claiming
to
offer
nine
times
the
fun
but
it
seems
the
makers'
sense
of
fun
is
way
too
low.
Multi
starrer
flick
featuring
Saif
Ali
Khan,
Riteish
Deshmukh,
Ram
Kapoor,
Esha
Gupta,
Bipasha
Basu
and
Tamanna
Bhatia
has
made
a
grand
release
today
but
the
film
has
very
little
to
leave
any
grandness.
The
movie
Humshakals
has
introduced
the
concept
of
triple
roles
in
Indian
cinema
for
the
first
time
and
has
involved
quite
many
popular
comedy
actors
in
the
film
but
sadly,
the
film
lacks
in
good
sense
of
humour
and
strong
punch
lines.
Although,
Riteish
who
has
established
himself
as
a
good
comic
hero
has
offered
some
fine
humour
while,
Saif
and
Ram
also
could
bring
out
some
laughter
through
their
comic
timings,
but
to
make
a
film
run
well,
a
lot
more
is
needed.
To
give
a
hint
of
the
story
of
Humshakals,
Saif
(Ashok),
a
millionaire's
son
and
Riteish
(Kumar)
are
best
friends
who
are
unaware
of
their
look-alikes
who
in
turn
also
have
look-alikes.
On
the
other
side
Ram
(Mamaji)
who
is
Saif's
wicked
uncle
also
has
two
look-alikes,
neither
of
whom
are
aware
about
the
funny
thing.
And
to
make
things
even
more
confusing
for
the
characters,
all
the
three
look-alikes
of
the
three
characters
also
have
the
same
names
Humshakals
offers
some
cheesy
comic
sense
on
which
the
audience
can
have
a
laughter
only
out
of
force
and
the
actors
have
very
little
to
be
blamed
for
that.
While,
most
part
of
the
film
Humshakals
appears
to
be
a
dull
watch,
certain
scenes
when
Saif,
Riteish
and
Ram
come
in
their
female
avatars
do
bring
some
laughter
for
the
audience.
Like
any
other
Sajid
Khan
movies,
female
leads,
Bipasha,
Esha
and
Tamanna
have
very
little
to
showcase
other
than
their
glamour
quotient
and
the
ending
of
the
film
is
as
disastrous
as
the
most
hyped
dialogue
"Hum
Pagal
Nehin
Hain...Hamara
Dimag
Kharab
Hai" in
the
film.
Although,
the
director
Sajid
Khan
tried
to
offer
something
new
with
the
concept
of
triple
roles
in
Humshakals
but
sadly
the
director
has
ended
up
making
something
below
his
original
capability.
All
in
all,
Sajid
Khan's
Humshakals
proved
out
to
be
nine
times
more
senseless.

Humshakals
Review
Although
Humshakals
offers
some
good
hilarious
moments
but
most
of
the
punch
lines
will
make
you
ask
yourself
'Why
am
I
here?"
Saif
Ali
Khan
While
making
Humshakals
Sajid
Khan
must
have
decided
that
he
will
not
allow
any
bit
of
realism
in
his
so
claimed
'nine
times
the
fun'
film.
Three
Lead
Ladies
In
one
scene
Satish
Kaushik
uses
Sajid
Khan's
prior
film
Himmatwala
as
a
measure
of
torture.
We
think
Sajid
Khan's
next
film
will
use
Humshakals
for
the
same
reason.
Saif
And
Tamanna
The
film
has
a
wicked
doctor
who
is
so
genius
that
he
invented
a
drug
which
can
make
a
human
behave
like
a
dog.
And
then
he
gets
his
two
assistants
look
and
sound
like
Saif
and
Riteish,
that
too
just
in
a
few
days
space.
Who
says
India
is
not
a
developed
nation?
Riteish
And
Bipasha
The
actors
tried
their
best
to
generate
'nine
times
the
fun'
but
with
nine
times
the
dull
script,
what
can
be
expected.
Esha
Gupta
Tamanna
Bipasha
And
the
special
appearance
by
Prince
Charles
further
adds
to
the
senseless
script
as
why
would
Prince
Charles
attend
a
private
company
function!
Hot
Esha
To
talk
about
the
music
of
Humshakals,
other
than
the
song
'Caller
tune'
none
of
the
tracks
are
catchy
enough.
And
very
few
songs
in
Bollywood
can
match
the
disgust
offered
by
the
song
'Hum
pagal
nehi
hai
bhaiya'.
Well
done
Himesh
Reshamiyan.
Beauties
Of
Humshakals
Sajid
Khan
keeps
up
his
trend
of
keeping
the
female
characters
just
as
a
glamour
quotient.
Female
Version
Of
Humshakals
And
the
conclusion
of
the
film
will
make
you
hate
yourself
thinking
what
on
the
earth
made
you
decide
to
watch
this
film;
especially
when
Saif
makes
a
heroic
jump
to
take
off
a
time
bomb
from
his
paralysed
father's
neck
and
diffuse
it
just
like
he
says
in
his
Amul
Macho
ad,
'Bade
Aram
se'.
