Purani Jeans Movie Review: Test Of Patience

An Eros International banner 'Purani Jeans' starring Tanuj Virwani, Aditya seal and Izabelle Leite is a story of a young boy who returns to his hometown. He rediscovers his friendship, love and reconnects with his old friends. Director Tanushree Chatrji Bassu's has failed miserably with her 'oh-so purani' story line.

Produced by Manju Lulla, the film just portrays about the relationship between a girl and her two friends. Tanuj Virwani and Aditya Seal plays the role of two best friends turning foes. Izabelle Leite the brazilian beauty plays the girlfriend role. We think the girl should have stayed happy modelling.

Rati Agnihotri's son Tanuj Virwani's second film had big hopes which just popped off like a bubble. With a storyline which is soooo old and the cast trying to be 'Yo' since they are all the so-called modern generation, Purani Jeans just tests the audience's patience.

There is a limit to everything the director tries too hard to portray. The triangle love story, best friends turning foes, girl friend trying to explain her stance and the guy who doesn't listen at all. All these old formula masala just doesn't take the film to any interesting part.

Music by Ram Sampath is not so good or not so bad. It just fades off the minute we come out of the theatres.

Purani Jeans is just another film which gets released and goes off the theaters very soon.

Well the audience should watch it if they really want to test their patience limits and doesn't mind wasting their money!
