We
must
blame
it
on
Takashi
Shimizu.
He's
the
one
who
started
it
with
his
Japanese
horror
film,
'Ju-on:
The
Grudge.'
Then
Hollywood
rechristened
the
film
on
American
geography,
which
became
the
ever
popular
'The
Grudge'.
Takashi
Shimizu,
a
honest
avant-garde
filmmaker,
never
would
have
thought
that
his
ideas
of
treating
ghosts
in
horror
flicks
would
help
Indians
to
churn
out
totally
absurd
movies
one
by
one!
Yes,
You
know
it.
Ragini
MMS
2
is
not
a
film.
Why
would
one
watch
it?
Just
to
get
enough
of
Sunny
Leone's
glamour.
But
exploitation
movies
on
the
same
lines
are
already
made;
notable
examples
being
Jism
2,
Murder
3
from
the
Bhatt
camp,
etc.
So
it
looks
like
Ekta
Kapoor
thought
let's
scare
the
audience
a
bit
or
they
will
get
bored.
The
result
turns
out
to
be
Ragini
MMS
2.
The
story
revolves
around
the
haunted
house
where
Ragini's
boyfriend
was
murdered
by
supernatural
forces.
In
this
poor
sequel,
a
director
chooses
this
incident
for
his
next
film's
subject
and
he
casts
an
ex-adult
movie
star
named
Sunny.
The
director
has
no
sense
of
direction
or
cinema
-
No,
we
are
not
talking
about
director
Bhushan
Patel,
but
are
narrating
its
plot
and
the
director
in
the
film
is
played
by
Parvin
Dabas.
So
in
a
strange
way,
you
can
call
this
film
'realistic'.
Sunny
Leone
proved
that
she
can't
have
an
expression
on
her
face
even
when
she
is
on
a
gun
point.
One
scene
is
there
to
prove
how
hard
it
is
to
act
in
adult
movies
and
that
was
the
much
publicized
'O
sequence'.
But
it
actually
makes
the
theatre
laugh
instead
of
charming
them!
Ragini
MMS
2
doesn't
have
anything
in
original,
but
it
features
the
great
Sunny
Leone.
However,
even
that
didn't
save
it
from
being
a
very,
very
terrible
film!
P.S:
There
is
a
psychiatrist's
character
in
the
movie
played
by
Divya
Dutta,
who
can
appear
at
haunted
houses
whenever
she
wants.
That
too,
her
help
will
be
there
when
you
are
in
the
middle
of
any
danger.
Even
the
male
lead
asks
her
when
she
appears
in
the
climax,"Who
are
you?" And
she
replies,
"I
am
a
psychiatrist
from
Newyork".
Puzzled,
he
asks,
"then
what
are
you
doing
here,
in
this
haunted
house
?"
This
scene
proves
that
even
the
screen
writer
doesn't
know
how
she
got
there.
Now,
it
can
really
be
a
supernatural
intervention
in
the
script
and
Ragini
MMS
3
might
be
based
on
her!
Ragini
MMS
2
makes
you
guffaw
instead
of
scaring
the
wits
out
of
you
with
its
spoofy
execution.
