Alone Movie Review
Bollywood has made many attempts to make that perfect horror film, one that will scare us to death but in spite of repeated attempts they have not been successful at it. Most of these films seem more funny and less of horror, but apparently that is all about to change with the release of Alone movie starring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover.
Bipasha who has been given the tag 'Queen Of Horror' is back on the big screen in an attempt to scare you. Will she be successful? Is Alone finally the Bollywood's answer for a scary horror film, are the number of questions that'll be popping in your head. Worry not, my review shall answer all your queries.

Plot:
Alone like you guys are already aware of is an adaption of Thai horror movie of the same name. The plot revolves around the conjoined twins played by Bipasha Basu. Anjana and Sanjana love each other very much and wish to share the same bond through out their life. But one day Kabir (Karan Singh Grover) enters their life, both the girls fall in love with him but Kabir falls in love with Sanjana.
This makes Anjana jealous, when Kabir is leaving town and tries to big good bye to Sanjana, her conjoined twin does not leave her. Sanjana gets upset and demands to be separated from her sister but during the surgery, Anjana dies.
The story then pans to the present time when Sanjana and Kabir are together and they happen to return to India as Sanjana's mother has a stroke. When they come there, Kabir gets to know about Anjana's room being locked, which contains all her toys and memories and possible her as well.
When this is revealed to Kabir, he gets angry and demands the room be opened which frees Anjana's spirit. This ghost seeks revenge from her sister but for what reason is the big question?
Turns out the Anjana get furious and kills Sanjana when she demanded to be separated and then in order to obtain Kabir she assumes Sanjana's name and persona. The spirit makes several attempts to convey Kabir the truth but alas.
Does the spirit get her revenge? Does the actual Anjana die? What happens to Kabir and the love between him and one of the conjoined twins forms the crux of the sotry.
Technical Aspects:
Bhushan Patel has directed two horror films in the past and some where the technique of direction does remind you of his old films. The horror effects are pretty good for a Hindi movie and the special effects too manage to scare you a little bit. Songs have no special ring to it, they are monotonous and have the leading couple romance in different ways possible.
Performances:
Karan has acting experience owing to his television serials but he lacks in his overall performance in the movie. Bipasha Basu is the true horror queen but somewhere her acting too reminds you of the other horror movies she has done in the past. Rest of the characters don't have as much significance as these two leading actors but nevertheless they have given good performances.
Verdict:
If you are a horror movie freak, Alone may be dull for you! Else, it can make up for a decent weekend watch that'll probably make you laugh more and scare less.

Karan Tattoos
Well, I got my first tattoo on my right arm which is a dragon when I was 21. At that time, I didn't put any thought into it, so I just got a dragon. The next one is on the left arm, which is an aboriginal design, which has a crucifix in it. The left shoulder has the symbol of the seven archangels. Then another one on my right arm, which says 'peace, love, happiness and success,' in Mandarin letters. Then there's another one on the same right arm, which was the most painful. The latest is a birthday gift to myself. It's my self-proclaimed designation, superstar, on my left leg. And then one that is across both wrists, that says, 'Anything but ordinary.'

For me, my body is my canvas. I can do whatever I want with it. And I like tattoos. If something means a lot to me, I like the fact that I can get it written on me or painted on me.
Expected Collection
Alone is not releasing in that many theatres so the film's Box Office collection may not be that high and will be in the range of Tevar.

A number of songs in Alone movie are all picturized on different ways the lead actors can kiss and make out. Watch it for tips you can follow in your love life.
Chemistry
As much as the couple say they match and look good together, they don't. Bipasha Basu looks tad older to Karan.
Steamy Scenes Collection
She says in the movie that no one can give him pleasure the way she does. Seems like she is right.
Verdict
While a lot of fans are excited for the movie tomorrow, only time will tell if they actually liked the movie or not.
