Baahubali
has
truly
hurled
up
a
thunderstorm
with
its
release,
fans
have
bought
tickets
in
black
by
coughing
up
a
whopping
Rs
10000/-
per
ticket.
Now,
while
all
of
you
will
be
shocked,
you
would
wonder
if
the
movie
is
really
worth
spending
so
much
money
for?
Well,
read
the
review
to
know
what
the
movie
awaits.
Cast:
Prabhas,
Rana
Daggubati,
Anushka
Shetty,
Tamannaah,
Ramya
Krishna,
Sathyaraj
Director:
SS
Rajamouli
Baahubali
Plot:
The
movie
revolves
around
Shiva
(Prabhas)
who
at
a
very
young
age
gets
smuggled
from
his
Kingdom
Mahishmati.
The
prince
is
unaware
of
his
true
calling
and
is
brought
up
in
a
tribal
group.
Shiva
grows
up
with
some
great
skills,
though
he
is
packed
with
some
powerful
biceps,
he
has
an
avid
interest
in
art
and
being
a
make-up/tattoo
artist.
He
is
the
son
of
Amarendra
Baahubali
(Prabhas
in
a
dual
role)
and
Devasena
(Anushka
Shetty).
His
love
interest
Avanthika
(Tamannaah)
is
part
of
a
rebel
group
and
the
besotted
Shiva
manages
to
impress
her
with
his
skills.
When
the
story
goes
through
a
flashback
mode,
we
see
princes
Bhallala
Deva
(Rana
Dagubatti)
and
Amarendra
who
are
cousins
manage
the
Kingdom.
When
crisis
befalls
them,
Bhallala's
mother
Sivagami
(Ramya
Krishan)
takes
charge
of
the
Kingdom.
Prince
Bhallala
later
becomes
King
but
what
happens
to
Amarendra
and
how
did
Shiva
end
up
in
a
distant
tribal
group
forms
the
crux
of
the
story.
Performances:
Prabhas
the
lead
actor
shines
in
his
double
role
to
the
maximum
extent
he
can,
and
he
does
end
up
with
a
few
acting
flaws
but
nothing
major.
His
fighting
scenes
during
the
epic
war
and
his
biceps
manage
to
make
him
shine.
Anushka
Shetty
has
always
performed
well
in
her
movies
and
in
Baahubali
too,
she
leaves
the
viewers
impressed
with
her
skills.
While
Rana
did
not
have
much
scope
compared
to
Prabhas,
he
does
a
good
job.
The
person
who
would
probably
get
hurled
at
is
Tamannaah
for
her
shoddy
performance.
Though
the
main
lead
actors
have
received
hype
from
day
one,
the
real
show
stealers
are
Ramya
Krishnan
and
Sathyaraj.
Technicalities:
The
movie's
major
highlight
is
obviously
the
VFX
effects,
the
landscapes
of
the
cities
and
nature,
which
is
breathtaking.
The
epic
war
battle
is
the
best
part
of
the
movie,
while
it
has
a
predictable
outcome,
the
clever
tactics
and
war
scenes
were
simply
spectacular.
SS
Rajamouli
strikes
gold
with
Baahubali
and
leaves
the
viewers
mesmerized
with
his
visual
extravaganza
that
has
been
never
seen
before
in
Indian
cinema.
The
script
written
by
V.
Vijayendra
Prasad
is
good,
it
is
not
brilliant
but
definitely
a
lot
different
to
the
movies
we
have
seen.
Verdict:
It
is
a
must
watch,
though
the
movie
may
lack
in
certain
places,
the
visual
extravaganza
just
cannot
be
ignored.
Prabhas,
Rana,
Anushka,
Ramya
and
Sathyaraj
are
some
of
the
reasons
why
you
must
just
book
your
tickets
and
head
to
the
theater.
