The much-awaited erotic-thriller of Vishal Pandya, Hate Story 3, has released today worldwide. And finally, we will get to know whether the movie is worth all the hype generated by the sensuous trailer or not.
Hate Story 3 is the third installment of Pandya's 2012 erotic-thriller flick, Hate Story, which had Paoli Dam, a newbie, in the lead role. But this time, as the cast of the film is much more popular and stronger, the audiences' expectations are higher.
Director: Vishal Pandya
Hate Story 3 Plot:
The story revolves around Aditya Singh (Sharman Joshi) and his wife, Siya Singh (Zareen Khan), who takes care of the family business after the demise of Aditya's elder brother Vikram. But all of a sudden, things start taking a wrong turn, when an unknown businessman Saurav Singhania (Karan Singh Grover) enters their life.
In an attempt to merge his company with Aditya's, Saurav makes an absurd offer that he wants to spend one night with Siya (Aditya's wife), and Aditya gets to know his real face. On the other side, Kavya (Daisy Shah), Aditya's secretary, falls into Saurav's love trap, without knowing that Saurav is just using her to destroy Aditya.
The second half of the film brings out the hate and revenge element and the best part about it is that there are many interesting twists, which are quite unpredictable.
To know whether Siya would sleep with Saurav and betray her husband or would she support her husband in exposing Saurav's real face, hidden behind the mask of a businessman, you have to watch the film.
Hate Story 3 is only for Karan Singh Grover's fans, as he shines throughout the film and has done rather an impressive job in the role of Saurav Singhania. While watching the film, girls were literally going crazy, whistling during his entry on the screen, and we must say that his character was the best portrayed among all the lead roles.
On the other side, Zarine Khan has done a lot of over-acting throughout the film and sometimes, her dialogue delivery was much before the right time. We don't know whom to blame - the actress or the director. It was disappointing to see Sharman in this movie, as he is genuinely a very fine actor and our expectations from him were very high. Daisy Shah, considering her limited screen time in the movie, performed average.
The cinematographer of the film, Prakash Kutty, has done an amazing job. From the erotic scenes to the melodious songs, this thriller flick will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very end.
There are a few loop holes in the plot, which are totally unacceptable and unbelievable. But overall, Vishal Pandya has done a decent job. When compared to the prequels of Hate Story, probably this one is the best.
By placing the suspenses back to back, the director has made sure that the audiences are not bored. The editing could have been better though.
Unlike the trailer, sadly, there will be less skin show, as the Censor Board has decided to chop out some of the most vulgar scenes in the film.
Hate Story 3 might get a nod from Karan Singh Grover fans, but the film is far away from appealing for the rest of the crowd.
The erotic revenge thriller takes the audiences through relationships, love, hatred and vengeance, and you can give it a shot this Friday!
