Hawaizaada
directed
by
Vibhu
Virender
Puri
featuring
Ayushmann
Khurrana,
Mithun
Chakraborty
in
pivotal
roles
released
all
over
today.
It
has
garnered
mixed
reviews.
Although
reviews
say
that
the
movie
is
painfully
slow,
we
should
appreciate
the
fact
that
the
director
dared
to
pick
up
a
subject
one
would
dread
to
even
touch.
However,
the
daring
script
alone
doesn't
make
a
movie
a
blockbuster.
Ayushmann's
debut
movie
Vicky
Donor
had
a
daring
script
which
worked
wonders
but
Hawaizaada
which
has
equally
a
daring
script
fails
to
impress
the
audience
as
much
as
the
hype
it
created.
Ayushmann
and
Mithun
have
given
wonderful
performances.
Ayushmann
as
a
young
scientist
and
dreamer
charms
you
with
the
curly
hair
looks
and
his
courage
to
convert
a
dream
to
reality.
Cinematographer
has
done
an
awesome
work
with
his
camera.
The
details
and
diligence
in
showing
the
Bombay
of
1895
is
quite
amazing
in
itself.
The
story
which
shows
the
nationalism,
power
of
imagination,
courage
to
turn
a
dream
into
reality
is
good.
What
fails
to
impress
the
audience
is
the
lousy
editing,
abrupt
end
and
the
music
which
fails
to
stand
out.
Ayushmann
Khurrana
has
evolved
as
an
actor.
Mithun
Chakraborty
gets
into
the
skin
of
his
character
Talpade.
Pallavi
Sharda
is
charming
and
beautiful,
a
fresh
face
to
be
looked
at.
