Hero
movie,
Salman
Khan's
next
big
production
under
his
banner
Salman
Khan
Films
is
releasing
worldwide
on
11th.
Thanks
to
the
makers
the
press
got
a
little
sneak-peek
into
the
movie
a
few
hours
before
through
the
premiere
show
and
here
is
an
exclusive
review
of
the
movie
here.
This
being
a
remake
movie
of
the
1983
hit
of
the
same
name
directed
by
Subhash
Ghai,
the
story
is
pretty
much
the
same.
Radha
(Athiya
Shetty),
the
daughter
of
IG
meets
Sooraj
(Sooraj
Pancholi),
a
typical
gunda
at
a
pub
.
Pasha
(Aditya
Pancholi)
is
a
criminal
whose
case
Radha's
dad
is
handling,
so
Pasha
asks
Sooraj
to
kidnap
Radha.
Pasha
is
Sooraj's
mother's
rakhi
brother.
Sooraj
pretends
to
be
a
police
officer
and
kidnaps
her
during
which
they
end
up
falling
in
love
and
later
she
finds
out
that
he
was
a
goon
and
that
she
was
actually
kidnapped.
On
her
request
and
for
her
love,
he
surrenders
and
ends
up
getting
jailed
for
2
years
but
still
he
doesn't
give
up
the
name
of
Pasha.
Unfortunately
Pasha
doesn't
know
that
and
feels
Sooraj
betrayed
him
and
is
bent
upon
revenge.
On
the
other
side,
Radha's
father
is
also
against
the
union
of
his
daughter
and
Sooraj.
How
the
couple
fight
against
all
the
odds,
prove
their
true
love
and
clear
all
the
misunderstanding,
forms
the
crux
of
the
story.
Sooraj
is
blessed
with
great
looks
but
somewhere
he
lets
us
down
with
his
acting
prowess.
In
the
1983
film,
Jackie
has
clearly
shown
the
difference
of
a
goon
in
the
first
half
and
lover
boy
in
the
second,
which
Sooraj
has
failed
to
do!
A
little
more
effort
from
him
would
have
been
better.
His
action
scenes
though
are
applaud
worthy.
Athiya
on
the
other
had
tried
to
give
her
best.
Her
efforts
at
acting
are
seen
,
which
makes
us
feel
that
she
is
capable
of
doing
more.
Tigmanshu
Dhulia
and
Aditya
Pancholi
have
performed
well
and
done
justice
to
their
roles.
Sharad
Kelkar
is
seen
in
the
role
of
Athiya's
brother
in
the
movie
and
he
too
has
given
a
decent
performance.
Technicalities:
The
cinematography
of
the
movie
is
brilliant
and
definitely
a
high
point.
The
movie
lacks
in
two
departments,
direction
and
editing.
Certain
flaws
like
look
of
Sooraj
being
different
in
a
continuous
shot
and
abrupt
scene
changes
make
us
question
their
editing
skills.
Nikhil
could
have
paid
more
attention
and
covered
up
all
the
goof
ups
and
silly
flaws.
Also
the
movie
seems
like
an
added
effort
in
showing
the
lead
actors
and
the
entire
movie
has
taken
a
back-seat.
Verdict:
Its'
a
known
aspect
that
Hero
is
an
old
wine
in
new
bottle
but
is
it
worth
drinking
this
new
wine?
A
one
time
sip
only!
Hero
is
a
one
time
watch
movie
with
nothing
worth
getting
a
special
mention,
apart
from
Salman
Khan's
song!
