The
first
prequel
starring
Akshay
Kumar,
Katrina
Kaif,
Anil
Kapoor,
Nana
Patekar,
Paresh
Rawal,
Mallika
Sherawat
and
Feroz
Khan
was
highly
entertaining.
People
anticipated
it's
sequel
from
a
really
long
time
and
finally
the
sequel
releases
today.
Will
the
movie
entertain
the
viewers
like
the
first
one
or
will
it
fail
to
meet
the
expectation
of
the
viewers.

Cast:
John
Abraham,
Shruti
Haasan,
Anil
Kapoor,
Nana
Patekar,
Paresh
Rawal,
Naseeruddin
Shah
and
Dimple
Kapadia
Director:
Anees
Bazmee
Plot:
There
is
nothing
different
about
Welcome
and
Welcome
Back,
except
that
the
sister
is
now
played
by
Shruti
Haasan
and
her
partner
is
not
an
innocent
guy
but
a
gangster
played
by
John.
Nevertheless,
let
us
tell
you
what
the
movie
is
all
about!
Uday
Shetty
(Nana
Patekar)
and
Majnu
Bhai
(Anil
Kapoor)
miss
a
wife
in
their
life!
Yes,
there
are
still
two
single
men
who
have
now
left
the
underworld
and
have
become
prominent
businessmen
in
the
UAE.
Like
always
the
have
fallen
in
love
with
the
same
girl,
a
princess
(Ankita
Srivastava)
whose
mother
lays
down
a
condition
that
first
they
have
to
get
their
sister
married
off.
Now
the
sister,
Ranjhana
(Shruti)
is
in
love
with
Ajay
aka
Ajju
Bhai
(John
Abraham)
who
is
actually
the
stepson
of
DR,
Gungharoo
(Paresh
Rawal).
Oh
God!
The
brilliant,
out
of
the
world
and
confused
plot
doesn't
end
here.
You
still
have
the
entry
of
Wanted
Bhai
(Naseeruddin
Shah)
and
his
drug
addict
son
Honey
(Shiney
Ahuja).
By
the
way,
Honey
falls
for
Ranjhana!
So
now
which
don
will
the
brothers
get
her
sister
married
and
who
will
they
marry
and
what
all
the
characters
haphazardly
do
in
the
movie
forms
the
crux.
Make
sure
to
miss
the
unnecessarily
long
climax
in
the
scene
in
the
movie,
now
only
Aneez
knows
the
importance
of
it!
Performances:
The
only
saving
grace
in
the
movie
are
two
people
and
their
chemistry
with
each
other,
Anil
Kapoor
and
Nana
Patekar.
Their
hilarious
camaraderie
manages
to
keep
the
movie
afloat.
John
Abraham
has
done
his
best,
could
not
really
expect
more
from
him.
Naseeruddin
Shah
tries
his
best
to
justice
to
the
blind
don
role,
but
even
a
classic
guy
can
do
only
so
much
to
save
a
film,
Shruti
Haasan
is
there
but
not
exactly
there
in
the
movie,
meaning
her
role
is
quite
small
amidst
all
the
commotion
in
the
movie.
Direction:
Co-writer
and
director
Anees
Bazmee
and
done
a
major
blunder
in
this
movie.
Had
he
tried
a
little
more,
he
could
have
really
out
forward
an
entertaining
comedy
film
but
he
prefers
to
stick
with
a
boring
screenplay
and
well
that's
about
it.
There
is
nothing
new
in
the
movie,
just
a
few
gag
scenes
which
tickle
your
funny
bone!
Verdict:
Well,
if
you
skip
to
watch,
you
are
not
losing
out
on
anything
great!
But
if
you
are
the
kind
who
leaves
your
brains
at
home,
then
Welcome
Back
is
your
cup
of
tea!
