Raman Raghav 2.0 Movie Review Ratings Plot

Director: Anurag Kashyap
Cast: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vicky Kaushal

Plot:

Blood, death and violence is the law in Raman Raghav 2.0 as two psychopaths named Ramanna (Nawazuddin) who is a slum dweller, and Raghav (Vicky) who is a policeman, go on a killing spree of innocent people all across Bombay. Ramanna, is a slum dweller and deals with the killing of poor and middle class people and goes unnoticed in the crowd.

On the other hand, Raghav, who is a policeman gels along with the rich and who's who of the city and moves around glamorous circles and kills people mercilessly, just for his own satisfaction.

As the film progresses, you'll realize how Raman & Raghav complete each other in their crazy ways and Raman, who follows Raghav's killings, ends up falling in love with him as he feels that they are 'soulmates' and 'made for each other' because both love killing people.

So will Raman & Raghav become soulmates? Or will the law catch up with Raman & Raghav? Will the two face severe consequences for their mindless acts? Or will they just escape just like how they escaped with all the other killings? For that you will have to hit the theatres!

Performances :

We can surely say that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given out his best ever performance till date through Raman Raghav 2.0. His looks, attitude and body language can send chills down your spine as he walks around the city to kill people.

The 'no smile no laugh' character of Raman is portrayed perfectly by Nawazuddin and his dialogue delivery is a clear winner, as he justifies his acts and makes you believe that what he is doing is right! Such is the intensity of his acting.

Vicky Kaushal, has also given out a stellar performance as a Policeman, and is seen wearing sunglasses even inside the house as he thrashes people to death. The cocaine snorting cop, also showcases the 'no smile no laugh' attitude in the whole movie and stands tall and firm which could make your body shiver in fear. Vicky Kaushal, has showcased nothing but sheer psychotic power and has done justice to the role of Raghav.

Technicalities :

Raman Raghav 2.0, has showcased the perfect locations for dark movies, and all the places shown are totally raw, dirty and real! The subways, gutters and homes look chilling and blends really well with the storyline and the theme of the film.

Director Anurag Kashyap, has done his homework well as the camera angles are spooky and very realistic. The bakground score perfectly matches with the visuals on the screen and has provided the best chilling experience to the audiences.

Verdict:

Raman Raghav 2.0, is a must watch as this kind of dark psychotic film comes very rarely in Bollywood. The film is brilliantly made and the actors performances are excellent. They can scare the living hell out of you. If you like dark movies you should surely watch this, but if you like only romantic films and are weak hearted, give this a miss!
