Bheed Twitter Review: Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha's directorial Bheed, has finally released in theatres on March 24. The movie features an ensemble cast of Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednedkar, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza, Kritika Kamra, among others. The movie's story revolves around the struggles migrants workers faced during the Covid lockdown that brought the whole world to a standstill. Meanwhile, with Bheed Anubhav Sinha once again tries to highlight the issues the common man faces during desperate times.
In a brave attempt, Bheed showcases how lakhs and lakhs of workers walked miles to reach their homes in rural areas for several days after the government induced stricter restrictions and sealed the borders in 2020 to contain the virus. The film portrays the helplessness and heart-wrenching tale of these workers that came with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

ANUBHAV SINHA'S REACTION TO BHEED TRAILER'S RE-RELEASE
Reacting to the re-release of Bheed and changes made to the film, director Anubhav Sinha said in an interview with PTI, "Of course, these changes are obvious. The trailer was off air for two days (and) the changes mentioned are correct. But that reason is the filmmaker's business. There is a sanctity to the film and I would not like to disturb it."
"These are difficult films. In terms of making as well as in terms of taking it to you, but still, it is our responsibility to make these films and more importantly, that you watch these films," he added.
He then said, "Need one more help. Please don't think about how it was censored, how it will be released, why the trailer was removed from T-series channel, why Bhushan's (Kumar) name was removed... These are all the battles of the filmmaker. We are fighting, we will fight."
