Jawan Trailer: THIS Popular Filmmaker REVIEWS Shah Rukh Khan-Atlee's Action Thriller; Details Inside

Bollywood Badshah AKA King Khan Shah Rukh Khan is ready to enthrall his fans and cinephiles with an intense action entertainer, Jawan. Written and directed by Atlee, the movie is gearing up for a massive theatrical release on September 7 worldwide.

The movie, which might become a bigger success than Pathaan, is made on a budget of Rs 300 Crore. Jawan features an ensemble cast and cameos by superstars of the Bollywood and Kollywood industries. Shah Rukh Khan is playing a dual role in Jawan.

Jawan's Theatrical Release

The movie will hit the screens worldwide in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam on September 7. It was shot in Tamil and Hindi, marking Shah Rukh Khan's Kollywood debut; director Atlee's Bollywood debut.

None other than filmmaker Karan Johar is the first one to have indirectly commented on Jawan's trailer. On August 27, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to share a status. He wrote, "I just saw the trailer of the century!!!!! #iykyk, (sic)."

Jawan Cast
Along with Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, the movie features Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Amritha Aiyer, and Kenny Basumatary among plenty others in key roles. In addition, Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, and Deepika Padukone will be seen playing cameos.

Bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment banner by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, the movie has its background score and music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. GK Vishnu cranked the camera, and Ruben worked as its Editor. Jawan's Hindi dialogues are penned by Sumit Arora. S Ramanagirivasan wrote the screenplay along with Atlee for Jawan.
