Films
is
one
of
the
biggest
productions
houses
in
India.
While
many
other
productions
houses
have
been
making
content
for
OTT,
YRF
has
now
made
its
OTT
debut
with
the
series
The
Railway
Men
which
has
started
streaming
on
Netflix
today.
The
series
is
directed
by
Shiv
Rawail
and
stars
Kay
Kay
Menon,
R
Madhavan,
Divyendu
Sharma,
and
Babil
Khan
in
the
lead
roles.
So,
is
this
series
by
YRF
worth
a
watch?
Well,
the
answer
is
a
BIG
YES!
We
have
heard,
read,
and
watched
a
lot
about
Bhopal
gas
tragedy
that
took
place
in
1984.
There
was
a
gas
leak
from
a
factory
due
to
which
many
people
in
Bhopal
died
and
till
now,
it
is
one
of
the
most
horrific
tragedies
that
has
happened
in
our
country.
The
Railway
Men
showcases
a
different
side
of
the
situation
that
has
been
untold
till
now.
The
series
concentrates
on
four
men,
a
station
master
(Menon),
GM
of
Railway
(Madhavan),
a
new
joinee
in
railways
(Khan),
and
a
conman
(Sharma).
How
these
four
men
take
things
in
their
hands
after
the
gas
leak,
and
try
to
save
people
of
Bhopal
forms
the
rest
of
the
story...
The
series
is
written
by
Aayush
Gupta
and
directed
by
Shiv
Rawail,
and
from
the
first
scene
itself
it
keeps
you
engaged.
Gupta's
writing
and
Rawail's
narration
is
so
tight
that
not
even
for
a
second
you
will
feel
bored,
and
you
will
be
keen
to
know
what
will
happen
next.
The
Railway
Men
is
a
mini
series
with
just
four
episodes
and
even
though
the
runtime
of
the
episodes
are
quite
long,
it
doesn't
look
stretched
at
all.
It's
a
series
which
is
on
point.
Apart
from
the
edge
of
the
seat
scenes,
the
series
also
has
scenes
that
will
make
you
emotional.
There
are
scenes
that
will
make
you
feel
heavy
in
heart.
So,
Gupta
and
Rawail
has
presented
The
Railway
Men
as
a
perfect
series
that
has
the
element
of
thrill
as
well
as
balanced
properly
with
emotions.
When
it
comes
to
performances,
it
is
Kay
Kay
Menon
who
steals
the
show.
The
actor
has
given
a
fantastic
performance
in
the
series
and
you
will
be
amazed
to
see
that
how
talented
this
man
is,
and
so
underrated
in
the
industry.
R
Madhavan
comes
a
little
late
in
the
series,
but
after
his
entry,
the
show
surely
goes
a
notch
higher.
Divyendu
Sharma
and
Babil
Khan
also
leave
a
strong
mark
with
their
performance,
and
Juhi
Chawla
is
impressive
in
her
part.
One
actor,
who
also
grabs
our
attention
with
his
amazing
performance,
is
Sunny
Hinduja.
Overall,
The
Railway
Men
is
one
of
the
best
web
series
of
the
year.
YRF
enters
the
OTT
territory
with
a
bang.
