Agni Review: Pratik, Divyenndu & Saiyami Starrer Is A Perfect Tribute To Our Real-Life Heroes 'Firefighters'

Agni Review: We have watched many films on police officers, Naval officers, Army officers, and many more real life heroes. But, till now, we have not watched a film which is based on the life of firefighters. But well, finally, we have a movie which is dedicated to our firefighters. Rahul Dholakia's Agni starring Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Saiyami Kher, and Sai Tamhankar has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. So, is the movie worth your time? Find out in our review below...
The movie revolves around firefighters working in Mumbai. Vitthalrao Dhonduba Surve (Pratik Gandhi) is a chief of a fire station, and along with his team he reaches the location wherever the fire takes place. The movie starts with a bang without wasting anytime, and it is shown that how firefighters risk their lives to save people. In Mumbai, there are back to back huge fire accidents that take place, and soon, an investigation starts and a cop Samit (Divyenndu) gets the case. So, aag lag jati hai ya lagayi jaati hai, is the question, and to know the answer you should watch the film...
After Raees, Rahul Dholakia returns with Agni, and first thing that we would like to say is that even though the movie is coming on OTT, try to watch it on as big screen as you can (Smart TV, Home Theatre, etc). Dholakia has narrated Agni just like a proper big screen movie, and we are quite happy that we got a chance to watch it at a special preview on the big screen. The movie is filled with a lot of thrilling moments that will keep you on the edge of the seat. The emotional quotient in the film is also quite good.
Agni showcases something that we haven't seen before. It showcases the life of firefighters and what all they have to go through. There's a scene in the film, when one of the firefighters dies in the hospital, and Pratik's character talks about the difficulties that they face while saving people. It is such a heartbreaking scene which showcases the reality.
Agni Review - Actors' Performances
Madgaon Express, Do Aur Do Pyar, and now, Agni; in just one year, Pratik Gandhi has proved his versatility and how! He has given an amazing performance in the movie, and what we loved about him the most is that while he is a Gujarati in real life, his Marathi accent in the film is so good that it looks effortless. Divyenndu as the cop impresses us a lot, and he has been given some of the best scenes in the movie.
Saiyami Kher leaves a strong mark with her performance and her character also showcases that even female firefighters stand tall with the male firefighters. Jitendra Joshi is damn good in his role, and even Udit Arora grabs our attention with his act.
Agni Review Final Verdict
Overall, Agni is a fantastic cinematic experience and it offers something new to the audiences. So, you should surely watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
