Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Review: When a couple of years ago, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was announced everyone was excited about the film as it was being directed by Neeraj Panday and starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles. Finally, today, after being delayed for a month, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has hit the big screens. So, was the wait worth? Find out in our review below...

The story of the film starts with a scene where Krishna promises that he will not let anyone come between him and Vasudha. Then comes the shot of the jail where Krishna is serving a 25-year sentence for double murder. But due to his good behavior he is to be released two years early. But he does not want to go out of jail because he does not want to interfere in Vasudha's married life.

The entire film runs on the background story. An attempt has also been made to show the love story of Vasudha and Krishna as great as Laila-Majnu, Heer-Ranjha. A lover who loves unconditionally and is even ready to end his own existence for his Vasudha. The film is very slow and only one emotion is visible in the film, which makes the film quite boring after a while. However, Krishna's friend has been used to add some element of humor in it, but that too is limited to just two-three scenes. There are many loopholes in the film and if you think a little, you will feel that their love story could have had a happy ending.

There is a scene in this film because of which the lives of Krishna and Vasudha change. That scene has been shown not once or twice or thrice, but four times and you will start feeling bored while watching that scene again and again.

Neeraj Pandey is known for his great films like Special 26, Baby, and A Wednesday, and we did not expect such a slow film from him. Neeraj Pandey has directed a pure love story for the first time and his experiment does not seem to be very successful. He is a very good director and this time he has tried to do something out of the box and looking at the film it seems that he needed to add a little more spice and suspense in this film.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Actors' performances

All the characters have acted well in the film. Saiee Manjrekar fits the role perfectly and her emotions are on point. Shantanu Maheshwari holds our attention as the younger version of Krishna, and has performed very well. You will see Ajay Devgn in only one expression throughout the film, but his dialogue delivery is amazing. Tabu has also done a brilliant job in the movie and Jimmy Shergill's adds a little spice spice element to the film with his less screen time.

If you are a fan of Ajay Devgn and Tabu's chemistry then you should watch this film but if you are expecting a good story because of these actors then you might be disappointed. If you are free, have nothing to do, and like to watch movies in theatre, then maybe you can give this movie a try, but otherwise just skip it.
