Binny And Family Review: David Dhawan (director) and Anil Dhawan (Actor), two brothers, left a mark in the industry with their films. In 2012, the second generation of the Dhawan family made his Bollywood debut. Well, we are talking about Varun Dhawan. Now, the third generation of the Dhawan family has entered the industry. We are talking about Anil Dhawan's granddaughter, Anjini Dhawan, who has made her Bollywood debut with the film Binny And Family which has hit the big screens today. So, is the film worth your time and money. Find out in our review below...

Binny (Anjini), an 18-year-old, is living with her parents (Rajesh Kumar and Charu Shankar) in London. Her grandparents (Pankaj Kapur and Himani Shivpuri), who stay in Bihar, visit them every year for two months. Well, Binny likes her grandparents, but gets upset when they come to London because she has to share her room with them. So, her privacy gets invaded. However, one incident changes everything and Binny realises the importance of family. To know how that happens, you need to watch the film.

Binny And Family is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy. The story of the film is quite basic. We all know that how due to generation gap, there are different point of views of different generation. An 18-year-old won't understand the traditions and the rules that a 70-year-old follows. So, when it comes to the basic concept, the film has nothing wow to offer.

But, what works in the favour of Binny And Family is the way the movie has been narrated. It has some funny moments, and some emotional scenes that have been wonderfully shot. While the first half is like a light-hearted film, the second half concentrates on the emotional part. So, it is a movie which might be having a very generic kind of concept, but Tripaathy with his narration makes it a better watch.

Binny And Family Actors' Performances

Binny And Family is a proper multi-star cast with each and every actor getting a good role to shine. Pankaj Tripathi as Binny's grandfather is simply wonderful. His performance proves what experience means! Himani Shivpuri as Binny's grandmother performs well. Rajesh Kumar is simply excellent, and Charu Shankar also leaves a mark.

Anjini Dhawan, who makes her Bollywood debut with the movie, is confident and has a good screen presence. She needs to work a bit on her comic timing, but the actress has done a fantastic job in the emotional scenes. Naman Tripathy as Binny's BFF will surely make you laugh out loud with his antics in the film. Tai Khan looks hot, and leaves a mark.

Binny And Family Music

The music of the film is decent. But, there are no songs that would be with you once you leave the theatres. A chartbuster is missing!

Binny And Family Review Final Verdict

Overall, Binny And Family is a sweet-emotional film that you can watch it with your family. Of course, it gives a message, 'it is all about loving your grandparents'.
