Review:
Rohit
Shetty
is
one
of
the
best
filmmakers
we
have
in
Bollywood.
So,
when
he
announced
that
he
is
making
an
OTT
debut
that
too
with
a
cop
based
series,
everyone
was
very
excited
about
it.
Indian
Police
Force
starring
Sidharth
Malhotra,
Shilpa
Shetty,
and
Vivek
Oberoi
has
started
streaming
on
Amazon
Prime
Video.
So,
is
this
series
worth
a
binge-watch?
Find
out
in
our
review
below...
Indian
Police
Force
is
about
Special
Cell
Delhi
Police.
The
series
starts
with
multiple
bomb
blasts
in
Delhi.
Kabir
(Sidharth)
and
Vikram
(Vivek)
start
investigating
about
the
case,
and
then
enters
Tara
Shetty
(Shilpa),
who
is
from
Gujarat
ATS.
How
these
three
try
to
solv
the
case
and
find
the
culprit,
form
the
rest
of
the
story...
When
we
talk
about
the
basic
storyline
of
the
film,
it's
nothing
new
and
unique.
We
have
seen
many
movies
earlier
that
talks
about
terrorism
and
how
cops
try
to
find
the
terrorist
and
stop
the
attacks.
But,
what
works
here
is
that
Rohit
Shetty
and
Sushwanth
Prakash
have
narrated
the
series
in
a
different
way.
While
we
do
have
a
few
larger
than
life
scenes
that
we
expect
in
a
Rohit
Shetty
series,
this
time
the
filmmaker
has
taken
a
bit
different
route
and
has
presented
Indian
Police
Force
in
a
more
realistic
way.
Also,
what
impresses
us
here
is
that
the
episodes
in
the
series
are
not
too
long.
On
an
average,
one
episode
is
of
around
30-40
minutes
which
is
good.
This
will
surely
help
the
series
as
it
becomes
easy
for
a
person
to
binge-watch
it.
Talking
about
performances,
it
is
Shilpa
Shetty
and
Vivek
Oberoi
who
steal
the
show.
Shilpa
is
the
first
female
cop
in
Rohit
Shetty's
cop
universe,
and
the
filmmaker
has
surely
given
her
a
meaty
role.
Shilpa
has
performed
brilliantly,
and
you
will
surely
feel
like
you
wanted
to
see
more
of
her
in
the
series.
Vivek
Oberoi
will
win
your
hearts
with
his
performance.
In
one
of
the
episodes,
he
fights
with
the
antagonist
and
he
has
done
that
scene
very
well.
Sidharth
Malhotra
is
good
in
his
part,
but
in
the
first
three
episodes,
his
character
doesn't
have
much
meat.
However,
from
the
fourth
episode,
he
takes
the
centre
stage
and
impresses
us.
Shweta
Tiwari
is
wonderful
in
her
role,
and
she
will
make
you
cry
in
the
series.
Nikitin
Dheer
leaves
a
strong
mark,
and
he
looks
perfect
like
a
cop.
Sharad
Kelkar
and
Isha
Talwar
are
good
in
their
cameos.
A
special
mention
to
Mayyank
Taandon
who
plays
the
antagonist
in
the
film;
he
is
damn
good.
Overall,
Indian
Police
Force
has
the
Rohit
Shetty
touch
in
it,
but
when
it
comes
to
story
it
offers
nothing
new.
Though
it's
a
Rohit
Shetty
OTT
debut,
Shilpa
and
Vivek
take
the
cake
with
their
performances.
