Khel Khel Mein Review: Akshay Kumar is known for his amazing comic timing. The last time we saw him in a proper comedy film was in 2019 release Good Newwz. Now, after nearly five years, the actor makes a comeback in comedy. His fans have been waiting to watch him in a laugh-riot, so is the wait worth? Find out in our review below...

The movie revolves around seven friends, Rishabh (Akshay Kumar), Vartika (Vaani Kapoor), Harpreet (Ammy Virk), Happy (Taapsee Pannu), Sam (Aditya Seal), Naina (Pragya Jaiswal), and Kabir (Fardeen Khan). They all come together for Vartika's sister's wedding, and one night, they decide to play a game in which all their phones will be kept on a table, and whatever message, call, or email comes on their phone they all will read it, and the calls will be answered on speaker. While the game starts on a funny note, soon it becomes quite serious as everyone's secrets start coming out. Will the relationships and friendships be the same at the end of the night? To know that you need to watch the film...

Khel Khel Mein is a remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers. I have watched the original film, so I know what the basic storyline is. But well, this is how a remake should be made. This is not a copy-paste remake, but a proper Indian adaptation of the original movie. In fact, it is much better than the Italian film.

The first half of the movie is hilarious. There are multiple scenes that will make you laugh out loud. In the second half, the movie becomes dramatic, but even in those dramatic scenes, there will be one punchline by Akshay Kumar and once again make you laugh. And of course, the film tries to give an important message at the end.

Khel Khel Mein Actors' Performances

Akshay Kumar is back with a bang to the comedy genre. This is the Akshay Kumar we all love and even his fans have been waiting to watch him in a role like this. It is tailor-made role for Akki, and he has nailed it. After Akshay, it is Taapsee Pannu who steals the show. Among all the female actors, she has been given the strongest role. Comedy as well as the emotional scenes, Taapsee has performed very well proving that she is one of the best actresses we have in the industry.

Fardeen Khan has been given one of the most pivotal roles to portray and he leaves a very strong mark. He has two major monologues, one comedy and one dramatic, and he has performed both wonderfully.

Ammy Virk with his perfect comic timing impresses us a lot, and Pragya Jaiswal, who makes her Bolywood debut, is very confident and grabs our attention. Aditya Seal and Vaani Kapoor are good in their respective roles.

Khel Khel Mein Music

The songs in the film are quite good, but it is background score that impresses us a lot. The track Parde Mein Rehne Do has been use fantastically in the movie.

Khel Khel Mein Review Final Verdict

Overall, Khel Khel Mein is an entertaining film that will make you laugh out loud and at the end it also gives an important message. Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and Fardeen Khan fans are in for a treat!
