Kill Review: Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment have come together for a film titled Kill which is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The movie has been doing the rounds of film festivals and it has received a fantastic response. It was called the most violent film made in Indian cinema. So, is it true? Well, YES!

The movie revolves around Amrit (Lakshya), an NSG Commando. He is in love with Tulika (Tanya Maniktala), and now, due a situation they both are travelling in a train from Ranchi to Delhi. Fani (Raghav Juyal) and his team of dacoits board the train to loot people. How this train robbery turns into a bloodshed killings forms the rest of the story...

Kill is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, and well, it is clearly the most violent film made in Indian cinema. The film doesn't waste time at all in building up the story, and within 5-10 minutes, the main plot starts, keeping us hooked throughout. The interval point will make you emotional, and you will come to know that the first half was actually just the trailer, and the main killings will start in the second half.

A BIG WARNING to faint-hearted people. This movie is not for you guys. It is full of blood, scenes that will make you close your eyes for a few seconds, and even make you scream. Yes, it's not a horror film, but there are scenes that will scare you and make your heart beat faster.

However, if you love action, like to watch gruesome and gory scenes on the big screens, then this film is perfect for you. Also, though the action is very violent, clearly it is quite well choregraphed. While in most of the action films, the action happen in open places where there's a lot of space to run here and there. But, here the action just happens in the coaches of the train, and that surely impresses that Nikhil has wonderfully narrated an action film which is 90% shot in just a train.

Kill Actors' Performances

Kill marks the big screen debut of Lakshya and well, industry has surely got the new action star. He has done the action fantastically, but he also acts well, and looks hot. A perfect package! While Lakshya is damn good in the film, the show stealer is Raghav Juyal. As the antagonist, Raghav is menacing and he has been given some of the best scenes in the film. The actor has also mouths some very interesting one liners, and he has delivered those very well, making us laugh as well.

Tanya Maniktala is looking gorgeous in the movie, and has performed very well. She will make you cry during the interval block. Abhishek Chauhan leaves a strong mark with his performance, and Adrija Sinha is also good. Veteran actors like Ashish Vidyarthi and Harsh Chaya are good in their respective roles.

Kill Review Final Verdict

Overall, Kill is clearly one of the most violent films we have seen in Indian cinema. It is something we haven't seen on the big screens before. So, of course, you should watch it in a theatre near you, but yes, it is not for faint-hearted people.
