Main Atal Hoon Review: Atal Bihari Vajpayee, we all have heard and read about him, and now, it's time to watch his story on the big screens. A biopic on the former Prime Minister of our country, titled Main Atal Hoon, will hit the big screens tomorrow (19th January, 2024). It is directed by Ravi Jadhav and stars Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role. So, is this movie worth your time and money? Well, YES it is.

Main Atal Hoon showcases the journey of Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Pankaj Tripathi). Since childhood, he was into poems, and wanted to make a mark through his words. Even when he was in college, he deicded to fight against casteism. The movie showcases how from a poet he became a politician and then finally, Prime Minister of the country.

When a biopic of a known person is made, it is very important to show things that not many might know about him, and that's what happens here. One of the most impressive things about Main Atal Hoon is, that the runtime of the film is just 2 hours 19 minutes, and director Ravi Jadhav and writer Rishi Virmani, have wonderfully got all the details in this runtime. The film's pace in the first half is a bit slow, but the second half is just amazing.

Post interval, there are scenes that will give you goosebumps and there are many clap worthy dialogues. The political ups and downs in the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been shown very well, and there are scenes that will make you proud as an Indian, and make you understand what this man did for our country.

Performance wise, it's clearly a Pankaj Tripathi show. The actor has gone deep into the skin of the character and has performed his role to T. It is difficult to imagine any other actor as Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Raja Rameshkumar as LK Advani leaves a stting mark. Ekta Kaul as Rajkumari is good in her role, and her chemistry with Pankaj Tripathi is quite good.

The music of Main Atal Hoon is nice and suits the theme of the film. Monty Sharma's background score is very effective.

Overall, Main Atal Hoon is a perfect tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the man whose name should be written in gold in the history of India. A Must Watch!
