Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Review: After Dream Girl, filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa became a household name. Everyone started expecting that finally we have a director who is going to tickle our funny bone with his every movie. Well, after Dream Girl, he directed the film's sequel titled Dream Girl 2. Even though the movie did well at the box office, critically it didn't get the acclaim that the first part received. So, when it was announced that Raaj Shaandilyaa is making a movie titled Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, we all were quite excited about it and expected that once again he will make us laugh out loud. Vicky and Vidya, who stay in the same mohalla (area), are childhood sweethearts. They get married and decide to shoot their suhagraat ka video. But, a robbery happens in their house and the CD of the video goes missing. What will happen if Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video gets leaked and everyone watches it? Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, and the screenplay is penned by Shaandilyaa along with Yusuf Ali Khan, Ishrat Khan, and Rajan Agarwal. So, the movie is set in the 90s and that works well for the film, as thanks to the Kumar Sanu songs used by the makers and a few things that are connected to the 90s, take us on a nostalgia trip. The film starts on an average note, but soon becomes a laugh riot. The first half is filled with many hilarious scenes that will make you laugh out loud. The one liners are damn good.

The second half also starts on a very good note and it looks like soon it will turn into a comedy of errors kind of a film. But, that doesn't happen. After a good start, the second half starts looking stretched, but thankfully an interesting climax saves it. Raaj Shaandilyaa has a style of direction where he ends his movies with a message and here too that happens.

Rajkummar Rao has earlier proved his mettle as an actor in comedy films and here also he is fantastic. The actor once again delivers an impressive act. Triptii Dimri shines in some scenes, especially where she has to go a bit over the top with her comedy. In other scenes, she is fine.

This movie belongs to Vijay Raaz and Mallika Sherawat. The two actors are in full form. Vijay Raaz has been clearly given the best role in the film, and some of the best dialogues. Mallika Sherawat is back with a bang. She looks stunning in the film, and has performed wonderfully. Her comic timing is perfect! Just like Vijay Raaz, she has been given some fantastic scenes, and they both just nail it.

Other supporting actors like Tiku Talsania, Archana Puran Singh, Rakesh Bedi, and Archana Patel are good in their respective roles.

One department that the film gets full marks is music. All the songs in the film are super entertaining. Na Na Na Na Re comes at an important point in the film and you will surely feel like dancing to it.

Even Sajna Ve Sajna has been recreated well, but Shehnaaz Gill fails to get the oomph factor required for the song.

Overall, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is a decently funny film with a good message at the end. But, don't watch it with high expectations.
