Yudhra Review: In 2021, a film starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, and Raghav Juyal titled Yudhra was announced. After three years of its announcement, finally, the film has hit the big screens today. So, was the wait worth it? Find out in our review below...

The movie is about Yudhra (Siddhant Chaturvedi) whose parents (father is a cop) die in an accident. His father's friend and a cop Karthik (Gajraj Rao) becomes his father and takes care of him. But, after knowing that his real parents are no more, Yudhra becomes a rebel and very short tempered. Rehmaan (Ram Kapoor) tells Yudhra to use his anger and rebellious nature for something good and tells him to become an undercover agent and try to grab a drug mafia. What happens after Yudhra joins the mission forms the rest of the story...

While watching Yudhra, one thing will always be there in your mind that you have watched a similar storyline or a similar scene in a film earlier. And that's because, Yudhra is written (story and screenplay) by Shridhar Raghavan who had written the screenplay for YRF's Spy Universe War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. This Ravi Udyavar directorial looks like a mixture of many Bollywood films.

It is an action-thriller, and literally just 2 action pieces are good. Other action sequences look very messed up. With movies like War, Pathaan, Jawan, and recently released Kill, action has surely gone a notch higher in the Hindi film industry. So, anything that's mediocre won't be impressive.

Yudhra Actors' Performances

Siddhant Chaturvedi is a good actor and there's no doubt about it. Even in such a weak movie, he has tried his best to perform. But, the movie doesn't do justice to his talent. Malavika Mohanan has been receiving a lot of praises for her performance in the recently released Tamil film Thangalaan, but well, she is strictly average here.

There are only two actors who impress us a lot with their performance in the movie, Ram Kapoor and Raghav Juyal; they both surely leave a strong mark. Gajraj Rao and Shilpa Shukla are totally wasted, and Raj Arjun is decent in his role.

Yudhra Music

Not even a single song of the film is good. In the music department also Yudhra falls flat.

Yudhra Review Final Verdict

Overall, Yudhra is a Khichdi of many Bollywood films that we have watched earlier, but this one is surely not tasty. So, you can skip this one!

P.S. Instead of Yudhra, you should surely watch Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam this weekend. It is a perfect family entertainer!
