Karmita also expressed gratitude for the support she received and firmly stated her intention to pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading the fraudulent video. Amid all this, Punjabi YouTuber Karan Dutta has come out in Karmita Kaur's support in his later video and called the video fake. Calling it an "AI-generated" clip, he bashed netizens for spreading the fake clip.

In Punjabi, he said, "AI-generated video Karmita di, oo de baal kaale rang de hai te body shape thodi broad ya, kudi (girl in the viral video) patli ya. Sara kuch karke photo pande ho 'check karo, India de bahar jaake ae kaam shuru kar diye.'
