As per unconfirmed reports, Ali got hitched to Salman Toor in New York City, claiming that the duo has been in a relationship for years now. The news has taken social media by storm with a wave of orthodox opinions from people.

Pakistan-born American artist, Salman Toor, 40, is a painter who narrates and imagines lives within the context of young South Asian men. His art is often set against the backdrop of South Asia or the streets of New York City.

Reportedly, 39-year-old Ali met Salman during an art class at Aitchison College. Salman has also discussed his journey to accepting his sexuality. In an interview in 2022 with The New Yorker, he shared that he tried to tell his parents that he was gay when he was 15, but they didn't accept that.

"They said, You're not developed yet, you just don't know," he said, adding that his parents eventually came to terms with his sexuality, but with more tolerance.

In the same interview, he also revealed that Ali is his closest friend, "I knew I had found the person I wanted to be with for good."

Meanwhile, taking to Instagram a few hours ago, Ali Sethi refuted all claims and said that he is not married. "I'm not married. I don't know who started the rumours. But maybe they should help market my new releases," he wrote, along with sharing the link to his latest song.
