Amid ‘Suck My Tongue' Row, Dalai Lama TICKLING Singer Lady Gaga's Knees In Old Video Go VIRAL
Dalai Lama Lady Gaga: 87-year-old Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama courted a huge controversy earlier this week after a video of him kissing a minor boy on the lips and asking him to suck his tongue went viral on social media. The Buddhist leader's actions have triggered a row, with many calling him a 'predator.'
In the controversial video, we see a boy approaching the Dalai Lama and asking, "Can I hug you?" The Holiness then invites the child on stage, shows him his cheeks first, and asks for a kiss. He then pulls the boy's chin closer, kisses him on the mouth, and says, "suck my tongue." The video has attracted harsh backlash from around the world.
Though the spiritual leader's team has issued an apology, they say the Dalai Lama was being playful, as he always has been. Many still cannot forgive what the Nobel Peace Prize winner has done.

Amid the row, an old video of the Dalai Lama tickling international singer, actor, and songwriter Lady Gaga has resurfaced on the internet. For the unaware, Lady Gaga interviewed Dalai Lama back in 2016, where both spoke about kindness and compassion the world needs during a conference. And now, a short video clip from the conference has gone viral following the incident involving the spiritual leader's kiss with a boy. Watch the video here.

Meanwhile, the video focuses on the Dalai Lama funnily tickling the pop star on her knee, which promoted a laugh from the crowd and Gaga herself. He then goes again to tickle Gaga, who laughs and holds Lama's hand. Maybe she understood that he was teasing her for wearing those ripped jeans. The video in question is from the 2016 United States Conference of Mayors conference, where Lady Gaga posted on her Facebook that she and the Dalai Lama will be discussing forming a world that has compassion.

The video shared on Twitter has been receiving several comments from netizens, with many calling Lama's touching of Gaga inappropriate. Some defended him, saying that he was just being playful.
A netizen tweeted that Dalai Lama was pointing at Gaga's torn jeans, so he used a tickle getsure. One person commented, "The way she held his hand tells you a lot." Another one said, "Religion poisons everything. He quite literally thinks he is a deity. How's that working out?"
Another one defended Lama's behaviour and wrote, "Are you aware in some part of the world touching, teasing and laughing is considered normal. You need to travel and learn more . Whatever you have been taught so far it hasn't have to be that way . Every culture and country is different . Men holding hands is normal in some."
