Dil Se Bura Lagta Fame YouTuber Devraj Patel Dies In Road Accident, Chhattisgarh CM Pays Tribute

Devraj Patel Death: Comedian, actor, and YouTuber Devraj Patel, who is popularly known for his Dil Se Bura Lagta hai memes, passed away on Monday, June 26 in a road accident in Chhattisgarh. As per several media reports, Devraj was on his way to shoot a comedy video in Raipur city.

Just to refresh your memory, Devraj is best-known for his viral Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai dialogue, making him a social media sensation nationwide. He had around 4 lakh subscribers on his YouTube channel.

The tragic accident took place after his vehicle collided with another.

Chhatigarh CM Bhupesh Baghel pays tribute

Reacting to Devraj's demise, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took to his Twitter account and paid a heartfelt tribute to the young internet star. He also expressed his sorrow at the loss of a future star.

Sharing an old video with Devraj, CM Bhagel, wrote in Hindi: "Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai', who made us all laugh, left us today. The loss of amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti."

Meanwhile, just a few hours before his death on Monday afternoon, Devraj Patel shared a video on his Instagram page. He captioned his post: Lekin may cute hu na dosto?

Many of his fans, too, took to social media and mourned his untimely demise. Devraj was also seen playing the role of a student in Bhuvan Bam's 2021 web series, Dhindora.
