Nina Shah's journey has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride in the music industry. From opening up for leading artists like Coldplay, Afrojack to playing at prominents evenets and clubs including the Dior show in Mumbai, the DJ has been slayed it like a true lady boss.

Nina Shah was the only female DJ, who invited to the NMACC launch event, which was conducted at a grand level in the Maximum City.

How has your journey as an artist been so far? Can you share some experience with us?

I started out 10 years ago as a duo (formally know as Elektrovertz) had the best time! ..one of a highlighted experience in my books was when we got to open for Cold Play which was an incredible moment! personally been a major fan! That was the biggest audience I've played for till date, think around 100 thousand people! Can still remember the feeling crystal clear

How do you think the club scene has changed over the past years?

Umm the quality of shows are better & more professionally run.. people have experience now so they know what they're doing .. also people understand a wider range of music genres now so it makes it more interesting for us as artists with experimenting!

You have had the opportunity to play at the DIOR 2023 Mumbai show, and attend NMACC tell us about your experience meeting Gigi Hadid and Zendaya

They were stunning girls & so down to earth, .. actually just how you would picture them from interviews.. always loved Gigi she's just so cool & def didn't disappoint in real life :)

Would you have chosen any other career path if not a DJ

Yes for sure, variety is the spice of life, actually have something cooking up and ready to launch next month! So stay tuned

Priyanka Chopra mentioned that she was bullied in the industry. Did you face any such incidents in your career?
I wouldn't say "bullied" but definitely received a lot of jealousy & judgment ..

What are your thoughts on the constant criticism that Urfi Javed faces?

Look, she's doing something extremely radical and that's breaking molds of our traditional culture so people are bound to have major push back ..

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That I'm half Indian & lived here my whole life..
I may not look or sound it but I'm a true desi girl at heart! that one always shocks them ha!
